Description
In 1916 werd de Rotterdamsche Vrouwelijke Studenten Vereeniging opgericht. Nu, 100 jaar later, vieren wij honderd jaar verbondenheid, honderd jaar ambities en honderd jaar vrouwen in Rotterdam. Om dit groots te vieren vindt van 7 – 18 mei 2016 het XXe Lustrum plaats. Met het thema Contrast - Terug naar de Toekomst gaan we 100 jaar terug in de tijd en kijken we tegelijk naar de toekomst. We benadrukken de punten waarop wij als R.V.S.V. ons onderscheiden. Waar velen met de stroom mee gaan, vormen wij het broodnodige contrast.Waar anderen stoppen als iets niet direct lukt, volgen wij onze dromen en ambities tot we ze behalen. Hoewel er een groot verschil zit in de leeftijd van onze reünisten en leden is er toch direct een onderlinge band. Binnen onze vereniging is het verschil tussen de leden ook zichtbaar. We zijn individuen, maar samen ook één groep. Dit is dé kracht van onze vereniging, want hierdoor staan we voor iedereen open en voelt iedereen zich direct thuis.
Het Lustrumjaar is hét jaar waarin we laten zien hoe wij het contrast vormen. We staan stil bij 100 jaar R.V.S.V., maar schrijven tegelijkertijd zelf geschiedenis. We vieren het Lustrum in het nu, de tijd die wij met elkaar hebben en niemand ons kan afnemen. Dit is het jaar van de First Lady, dit jaar staan wij samen voor eeuwig vooraan!
