This is a trial version of 'World Landmarks Pro' it contains no advertising but is simply a cut down version of the full product.Designed for both commercial & private pilots, 'World Landmarks For Pilots' is a searchable enhanced database of over 350 of the world's major landmarks. It contains many UNESCO heritage sites as well as ancient and modern wonders that are visible from the air. It also contains a database of over 5000 of the world's major airports.
Each entry has a short description with Lat/Long coordinates in both absolute and Boeing/Airbus FMC formats to assist in location from the air. 'World Landmarks For Pilots' has full Google Maps interaction facilitating both map and satellite close-ups of locations of interest. Direct links are also provided to Google Images and Wikipedia to enhance the user experience. A route can be plotted between any two of the world's major airports. The airport database can be searched by IATA code, ICAO code or airport name. The great-circle track that joins the two airports is depicted together with any landmarks that lie within 50nm of that route.
Internet connectivity is required for Google Maps, Images and Wikipedia functionality. Infrequent Internet connectivity is required for Google licensing purposes.
