3 ★Every few months my account freezes up and it takes about a week to fix it. Poor service. But once it works it's great.
1 ★Doesn't work on Samsung S5e. No roads shown. Many thanks for your reply. After re installing the app the maps have appeared with roads shown.
3 ★I like how easy it is to see the different types of roads. The turning sections of the directions are clear and before the street you need to turn on. Searching tomtom maps however needs drastic updating. I can't search for counties border lines like in Google for example. I'm trying to get rid of Google but i can't until tomtom get better in their searches and poi's. It would also be a great help if, when you click on a poi, more information, that it would open the web page.
1 ★Have been using Tom Tom go since 2016. Works great except upgrades. This year happened exactly the same like before. Upgraded subscription in May is not reflected on my Tom Tom account. Contacted Tom Tom web chat, asked me to contact Google support. Google support said it has nothing to do with Google. Still no luck with Tom Tom support. What is the given support channels? My open ticket with TOM TOM UK support:1258594.
1 ★I don't know what the hell is happening the past year and a half, but one thing is for sure: you're ruining the app. I have been using the TomTom app from 2012 onward daily, and it has been going downhill. The app is incredibly slow and stuttering on my 8T. Sometimes spazzing all over. The GUI has become a maze and a bunch of convenient settings has been removed. Landscape mode is ruined and impractical as hell. Please look back to how it was before. I'm seriously considering switching to Waze.
4 ★Love this app and I'll soon be a subscriber specifically because of the respect for privacy. Would like to see an improvement in multi-trip planning. I want to know how many miles and an estimated travel time between stops. Currently there's no estimated travel time, and I'm also having to add up the distance from the directions, which I can do but would be a huge convenience if incorporated into the app. This is critical info to me. I do love this app, so thank you, Dev.
1 ★I have used tomtom go for the past two years good app no issues there but the payment methods have changed from a one off yearly payment that I don't have to remember to cancel if I no longer needed it to a subscription model automatic recurring payments that I do have to remember to cancel. no other options, the developer emailed me talking about price thinking I'm tight its not the cost I would happily pay more its the auto renew subscription model I'm not happy with.
4 ★Good now android auto enabled. Having also used the free Amigo app was disappointed that Tom Tom Go subscription version feels inferior to Amigo e.g Amigo displays and states more info regarding averaging cameras, and tells you what your average speed was. Where Tomtom Go does not, its just niggly bits like that, that are disappointing in the paid version. Think I might go back to the free version.
1 ★Downloaded app, downloaded maps, went to navigate and it's just a blank screen, no maps, just an arrow where I may or may not actually be. Tried to input address and it comes up with internal search error. It's only job is to navigate from a to b and it can't do that, so because I can't give 0 stars, it'll have to be 1 star. Just hope the free trial doesn't try to charge me now!
1 ★UPDATE JUNE 29th. Uninstall, Reinstall, AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN still "Cannot Connect To Server" or "Something Went Wrong".
5 ★Really great app. I love the many options for voice navigation. But most importantly I love the ui and how uncomplicated and user friendly the app is . The only thing that some people might find confusing is the process of downloading a map of each state you want the app to work in. But I found it easy. Didnt bother me at all. It uses alot of storage so it makes sence to only store the states your going to need directions for.
1 ★Shame Yorkshire missing won't paying after the free trial may be should have got your app checked before launching it your answer is still not explaining why there is no map of Sheffield or why it doesn't even recognise Doncaster or other places in Yorkshire
