It's the ONLY App to be fully integrated into the Ambulance Control Room Network, and is essential if you ride alone.
IMPORTANT: REALRIDER® DOES NOT RECORD OR SHARE SPEED DATA. THE APP HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO BE KEPT ON YOU, NOT ON YOUR BIKE.
REALRIDER® makes it easy to record and publish your favourite routes. Simply hit the Record Route button, wait for the Start pin to appear and go. Your phone’s mapping system is fully integrated into the experience, providing visible tracking while you’re on the move.
NB: REALsafe® monitors your phone's sensors during route recording.
Spotted a biker-friendly café, meeting place or other point of interest (POI)? Add it to the map for others to discover.
REALRIDER® is free to download and includes route recording as standard. The only feature you pay for is REALsafe® through an annual subscription.

How does the crash detection work?
Powered by REALsafe®, the App uses complex algorithms to determine when a crash has occurred. A secondary crash alert function gives the rider a short time to deactivate before REALsafe® sends info directly to the Ambulance Control Room, who then call the rider.
REALsafe® requires a £25 annual subscription.
The App uses a combination of Internet signal, GPS, crowd-sourced WiFi hotspot and base station locations to determine your approximate location.
Note: Continued use of GPS does have an impact battery life.

How to install REALRIDER® APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download REALRIDER® APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.RealRider.RealRider-v2.5.3-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Questions & Answers
Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
