Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★The app is hard to use, it has lots of information but difficult navigating.
1 ★This app use to be better i had the south saskatchewan river as one of my stations and it some how disappeared and can not find it anymore I use to use this app all the time as I run rivers in my boat
2 ★Cant go back to home on screens. Get trapped on information screen. Have to delete and reinstall to get homepage. Not phone friendly.
5 ★A great application with data, overlaid on a map of Alberta, that is pertinent to river conditions. At the time of writing, the application was missing the "snow water equivalent" data that rivers.alberta.ca provided.
3 ★Not as functional as the web page. For example, Carseland shows 2 stations in the android app but you can't click on them to see any details, just displays a number 2. On their web page those same stations work fine.
3 ★It's pretty tricky to use, but I'm starting to learn what it can and can't do. I am not sure it's timely data, hard to prove that point.
5 ★Fantastic app for kayaking & canoing. Just wish it had data for previous years as well for comparison.
1 ★Useless
3 ★It would be nice to allow people to set notifications based on the flow rate
4 ★Overall, it's a very good app. I use it to keep track of water levels on a few stations and the functions for this are good. Alarms on reservoirs are nice but what would be really nice (and might earn the app a 5 star rating) is alarms on stations.
