Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★This app does NOT state that a forest protection ban is in place. THIS IS A FAIL WHEN YOU GET A FINE!!!
2 ★Definitely needs further development. I doesn't show where the active fire bans are on the Map. Just gives you the lists of the areas for each category. But once you've looked at the list and exited it won't give you the category choices again. Also once you've searched a place it won't give you the keyboard to search for another place.
1 ★This is the worst made app I've ever used! Unless!
1 ★Could very well be the worst app ever. Out of date, leggy doesn't describe it. Freezes (when it even works)... Par for anything government run or created though. Can you not just pay a third party to run this program properly?! I'd settle adds if it ran properly.
4 ★Good
1 ★Map shows us still under a fire ban, when we're not. Ban was lifted 2 days ago. This is for Android, my dad's iPhone has updated map. Not reliable.
2 ★2 years ago, this app was great. Now, the map does not show any of the fire ban information. So what is the point of the app if it doesn't do that?
1 ★Doesn't even show fire bans on the map! This is actually worse than the website. I didn't think that was possible.
3 ★Does it's intended job, but is stupidly laggy and takes forever to load some things. Also, it wont send me notifications, even through I have then turned on. Is the provincial budget so low that we cant produce a decent app? It's a pretty important topic, I dont want to fear opening it
1 ★Information differs from website and isn't accurate. Please update.
