Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Live in a town with lots of fires around it. Very helpful.
5 ★Excellent & critical app, especially during dry years.
3 ★Needs to be updated more frequently. Size of fires would be nice.
5 ★Great public info app for everyone living in northern alberta
5 ★Does what it claims to do
3 ★It's a good App. A great tool to have. But please update the weather & aqhi and current condition and precise area of the fires. The info I get is a general location of the fires & the weather & aqhi is 4 days old ... ( otherwise the App would get a better rating) thank you for keeping it Free.
1 ★Crashes upon startup Galaxy S4. Worked for a month before the issue started happening. Tried clearing data and reinstalling, didn't help. Other than that the app was nice when it worked.
5 ★Thank you for even having an app like this running. I just installed it and I love this app already. We are smoked out in Grande Prairie and now I know where the fires are. Yippie.
2 ★Was working well before, now it crashes all the time
4 ★As opposed to the usual rumors that spread and change faster than an Alberta wildfire!
