"ARTE in CENTRO" è il primo network che nasce per riunire nel segno della cultura contemporanea borghi e città d’Abruzzo e Marche, in un contesto geografico che spazia dai Monti Sibillini alle cime del Gran Sasso fino alle spiagge dell'Adriatico. Sei importanti realtà del territorio hanno deciso di unire forze e idee per dare vita a un sistema culturale integrato: l’Associazione Arte Contemporanea Picena, la Fondazione Fortezza Abruzzo, la Fondazione Malvina Menegaz per le Arti e le Culture, l’Associazione Naca Arte, la Fondazione Aria e la Fondazione dei Musei Civici di Loreto Aprutino.Tutte insieme per promuovere l’arte e le specificità paesaggistiche, ambientali, urbane, ma anche storiche ed enogastronomiche, dei comuni che costituiscono l’anima di "ARTE in CENTRO": Ascoli Piceno, Teramo, Civitella del Tronto, Atri, Castelbasso, Loreto Aprutino e Pescara. "Glocale" e "globale" sono i concetti-chiave al centro di un progetto di ampio respiro che supera i confini e che, in un periodo di crisi economica diffusa, vuole proporre al pubblico un nuovo modo di vivere la cultura. "ARTE in CENTRO" per un percorso espositivo lungo cento chilometri e con decine e decine di artisti coinvolti in iniziative di qualità, multidisciplinari e legate al contemporaneo, in particolar modo all'arte visiva. Incontri con autori e artisti, concerti, spettacoli di teatro e danza, workshop e seminari, e il sapore inconfondibile della tradizione, saranno il cuore di un programma culturale unico.
