5 ★I enjoy playing the game,but have to agree with some of the others. You have to pay to win. Prices have jumped significantly since 2021. More and more items require diamonds to buy and outfits have jumped to an average of $700 to thousands. It would be nice to have some challenges where you could use your extended wardrobe without losing seasonal points. High points and fantastic accessories are the only way to have your model place in a competition.
3 ★This app has undergone some major changes over the years, but one thing that always remained consistent is the "poor connection" when voting with the time limit that doubles your tickets (needed to enter events). No matter how strong your internet connection the app always slows down during this time. Now, they've added ads to it (shortening the double ticket window). Either get rid of ads during this time limit or increase the time limit to 6 minutes.
2 ★Don't bother. I have been playing this game for a long time now. I have seen the quality of challenges and garment variety decline over the years. Almost every challenge now requires you to purchase items specifically to complete it. Early challenges would give rewards that would usually be useful in later challenges. Not anymore. I am uninstalling now after an advertised promo failed to register properly, and customer service took DAYS to tell me they wouldn't help me or honor their word.
5 ★The game is definitely nice as far as graphics go, the new update is really nice when it zooms in on the faces so you can focus more on the makeup/hair. The addition of real-life brands shows how amazing the fashion industry is and it feels more realistic than other similar games. While I think some newer styles for the covet brand in-game would be nice rather than using the old designs and recoloring them, I do genuinely enjoy the variety of style challenges.
2 ★This new search feature for props angers me. Don't give us new features if they aren't going to work well. For example, the pink Barbie heel background. If I search "heel" "doll" "Barbie" or even "Plastic", it shows no results. What's the point of search if there's only super specific keywords? What I would LOVE is if I had the ability to sort the props into different folders. The preset filters they have for both props and hair pieces are weirdly sorted and never give me what I'm looking for.
3 ★Fun fashion game if you have the money to spend on it. Attire is expensive and unless you have friends who also play that you can borrow outfits from, you quickly run out of options. The rewards are far less than the investments made to purchase items. It could also use more tutorials as not all strategic aspects are easily understood.
2 ★It's a cool game overall but at the end of the day there is very little curvy girl representation. it randomly choses a body type and 9/10 times its a skinny girl. If you want high stars all you have to do is have a blonde model. Voting is so weird. I'll have a level 14 against a level 100 which is beyond unfair. You aren't going to get a high score if you don't have the prop pack, or hair accessories. So hard to progress without money. I've spent $400 on this game in total
5 ★Love love LOVE this game! Only fashion game and really game in general that I continually play on my phone. They are always updating and changing for the better. Some cons- I'm level 74 and only allowed 6 fav hair and makups and that is NOT enough!!! I wish navagating clothes were easier (please allow me to search by min and max $$$!!!!) There are a few bugs where on a certain skin tone a bare arm is brought to the foreground. Can be pay to play but worth it if you are a fashion lover!
2 ★So...I used to play this game like 7 or 8 years ago...finally reinstalled and signed back in today and so far I can't stand the changes and lack of control and will probably delete it again. My closet is almost at 1 million closet value &I can't even enter 1 contest without spending money, no special welcome back bonus like other games do, and it keeps freezing up, but none of my other games do, just this one. Tried playing again for 15 min & I'm already fed up! Sounds like EA really ruined it!
4 ★*Really* great concept in using IRL high-end/couture fashion—that keeps up w/the current season. Realistic & pretty models (e.g. not cartoonish or poorly done). However, over the yrs, they've made it much more PTW. Really didn't like them adding "Featured Items" to the Daily challenge. Daily WAS 100% up to your imagination. NOW, F.I.s give you a color & selection of clothes to use if you don't want to stick out. Also, there are WAY 2 many gaudy props on $ale that layer almost infinitely—messy.
1 ★This is the only app where I find myself changing my rating. Too many glitches, not so many good prizes, tired of the endless dupe pieces for rally. Also, like others have said the challenges have gotten way too expensive and the prices are either not that attractive to the eye and/or cheap. Since EA took over the game is no Bueno. Strongly considering quitting this game. They seem to care more about money than providing customer service and making things right.
4 ★It was better before EA got so typically greedy. In - game purchases for enormous amounts of money weren't enough for you, you had to add ads? PLUS what money you're getting from designers for plying us with pleas to buy their clothes?? It used to be a game you could spend money on if you wanted to get ahead, and otherwise just have a fun time playing, but it's starting to feel like a money grab. 4 stars because the soul of the game is still there, but it's getting slowly buried in greed.
