Description
Alpha TestConvenient Password Manager is an app to manage all your passwords without the hasle of typing in masterpasswords. The app splits the passwords and distributes the shares to the various devices you use in your daily life. If you want to show a password you simply open the app, click on the desired password and accept the requests that pop up on your nearby devices. You may choose how many nearby devices are needed to recover a password as desired.
Convenient Password Manager synchronizes the password between all your devices that have the app installed on it via Bluetooth, Wifi or the cloud. All information is end-to-end encrypted and is worthless for anyone that is not in possesion of all your devices.
The app does also completly work without the internet altough communication via our server is used in case bluetooth connection is unstable or your W-Lan blocks the necessary traffic (e.g. corporate networks).

The app uses an implementation of Shamir's secret-sharing scheme to distribute a randomly generated 256-Bit secret across the devices for each password group you create. The password is obtained by first recovering the group secret the password belongs to over an RSA authenticated Diffie-Hellman-AES secured connection and afterwise calculating the SHA-256 hash of the recoverd secret and service name. The application uses perfect forward secrecy to further improve securitiy. The shares of your passwords never leave the device unencrypted and it is even for us, the developers, impossible to gain access to them or decrypting the data that occassionally gets transmitted over our server.
