1 ★The return flight I chose is not what actually booked. I immediately noticed it was NOT the flight I selected on the confirmation and called. They said they would have to charge me for the change because I chose the cheapest option that didnt allow changes without a fee. Mind you, the wrong return flight populated on the booking confirmation and I called within 5 minutes of making the booking due to noticing it immediately. This is my first experience with kiwi and I will NEVER USE again.
1 ★Update- they'll respond as seen here, but the reps don't reply or change anything. Awful. Slow. I accurate. Unreliable. Only use this app as a last resort. They are not the cheapest option, rather the most expensive. You will be charged exorbitant amounts for every little thing. For example: change to Personal Info: $35 Checked bag: $150 or more (not possible to see the fee until inputting all your personal info) To add a bag, it can be cheaper to simply rebook with a different airline/service.
1 ★Kiwi scams! Not only did they cancel my flight, the alternatives they offered cost an extra $200+, an additional 15 hours on the flight and/or flying from a different state. When I confirmed with the flight that they fully refunded Kiwi, Kiwi refused to refund me the full amount and gave only a partial refund. I never got the full amount back. Customer service was terrible. Not worth whatever amount you think you're saving.
1 ★Absolutely ridiculous service. We booked two separate trips for family to visit us overseas. Both trips were booked for 4 total flights, all of which purchased as a set. Due to Covid, only 1 flight was cancelled, but that started the problems. They give you two option, 1) 200euro credit (the tickets as a set were $3K and $4k) so 200euro is nowhere close to matching that. 2) a 3 month wait on a "potential" refund.
1 ★The absolute worst ticketing company on the planet, the gave me the kiwi guarantee which means if changes happen to my flight I don't pay, when my flight got cancelled ( part of my flight ) they charged me almost 135 dollars to get a 2 more layovers in 1 trip !!! This is absolutely nuts, and the customer service is absolutely dumb and extremely monotonic and robotic they don't know what they're saying like they're reading from screens, absolutely terrible experience and will delete the app !!!!!
1 ★An extremely irresponsible company. Bad communication: no phone contacts, email once a week. Very unreliable service. But they have a great website and mobile app. My story: I bought tickets months in advance. My criteria were: to fly in the evening. A couple of weeks before departure, the departure time was changed to nine and a half hours, moving it to the morning. I asked them to find me a similar flight or refund money to buy new tickets. They refused.
1 ★Would not recommend for use. Flight was cancelled and when refund was requested, I got nothing. Alternative option was to book a more expensive flight on a different date that didnt work for me. Been in contact with support but ultimately useless. Always claiming we can not do anything until carrier reply back. It has been that way for the better part of 8 months now. Definitely reporting to higher agencies
1 ★Treat this more like a -1 star. Save your time and money and don't use kiwi for booking flights. They're here to steal your money. After booking it's impossible to get in touch with them. They don't pick up the calls or respond to messages. They put me on q flight that by the cashier's own website wasn't being issued to poeple of a certain passport/visa category. The carrier had a full refund policy but kiwi conveniently ignored all attempts to work with them. DON'T BOOK WITH KIWI PLEASE.
1 ★Horrible! Totally do not recommend them. They sent us a message saying one of our fight got cancelled! The main flight! They then gave us other options that will cost us double what we paid to start with. I've tried calling numerous times and can not get though to speak with anyone. We can't even message anyone. This is a total nightmare.
1 ★I loved the app experience because it was the only app I found that integrated smaller airports/airlines to get to my obscure locations. BUT they failed to perform the MOST BASIC FUNCTION of the app; purchase my tickets. I had to purchase a new ticket at the airport!!! I am currently in the middle of their dispute process, but they say it will take 3 MONTHS OR MORE before they will get to my case because there are so many other issues in front of mine. DON'T RISK IT
1 ★Purchased an international flight here at a much cheaper rate than any other competitors and it said processing the order for 6 hours. Than I get a notification that the cost of the flight has now increased through the actual airline (through the physical airline site, no price changes have occurred) to a price thats now more expensive than competitors. 2 days later they are still advertising the cheaper rate while charging me double. This seems common practice here. Buy cheap, than double later
1 ★I've been a customer of Kiwis for a long time. Recommended to everyone. Today I got the true experience from customer support. I was sent a false itinerary months in advance from a flight I booked. Telling me of a change in departure. I received multiple emails about it. My boarding pass even states the change. I'm currently at the airport... trying to find a new flight to book since I missed the flight I was supposed to be on. There wasn't a change. And Kiwi refuses to take responsibility.
