Description
In Bremen wurde erstmals 1522 vom Reformator Heinrich von Zütphen in der Kirche St. Ansgarii evangelisch gepredigt. Danach nahm die Reformation an der Weser und im gesamten Nordwesten einen ganz besonderen Verlauf, den man in der Stadt noch an vielen Stellen nachverfolgen kann. Diese App lädt ein zu einem historischen Stadtrundgang auf den Spuren der lutherischen und der reformierten Lehre und der kirchlichen Traditionen. Das Verhältnis von Kirche und Stadtgesellschaft im späten Mittelalter wird lebendig. Der Weg führt über zehn Stationen, u.a. zu so bedeutenden Bauwerken wie dem St. Petri Dom, dem Bremer Rathaus oder der St. Martini Kirche. An manchen Orten kann man noch Zeugnisse mittlerweile zerstörter Bauten wie dem Paulskloster, der Komturei oder dem Katharinenkloster entdecken. Auch der idyllische Bibelgarten und die Ratskirche Unser Lieben Frauen liegen auf der Route.
