مسرحية ابن الرومي في مدن الصفيحبدأ عبد الكريم برشيد بكتابة مسرحية ابن الرومي في مدن الصفيح في عام 1975م، في مدينة الخميسات، وانتهى من كتابتها في ذات العام، ولكن في مدينة الدار البيضاء، وقد نُشرت أوّل مرة في عام 1978م في مجلة الآداب البيروتية، ومن ثمّ في مجلة الفنون المغربية، وقد قدمها برشيد في المهرجان الوطني في مدينة مراكش في عام 1979م، وقد حازت على جائزة أفضل نص مسرحي، وتصنّف مسرحية ابن الرومي في مدن الصفيح من المسرحيات الاحتفالية، وهدفها الرئيسي هو تعرية الواقع الذي يعيش فيه الإنسان في مدن الصفيح التي تتصف بأنّها تفتقد لأدنى شروط الحياة الكريم
