Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Only seems to have the older popular stuff along with a vast selection of newer releases for album art. Works smoothly and is a pleasure to look at. But struggles to identify correctly. Even though I have info imputed correctly for Billy Joel, Autotag keeps popping up wrong cover. Too many cases where have to manually search online when shouldn't have to.
1 ★When it wants to work, best app ever for grabbing album art! But when it doesn't work (almost all the time) it's a pain in the butt. Sometimes it will combine two completely different albums into one or delete songs on a 'correct' album. Other times it will rename an entire album to something unrelated and mess up the songs on it and will refuse to delete the changes. This is getting really out of hand. I thought this app would work, but I refuse to use it if it messes up my already fine albums.
5 ★More than priceless. Intuitive and powerful. Automatag is stable and works with songs on the SD card. I've yet to have a problem with it. Just downloaded the Earthbound soundtrack, and all the tags were missing. Just by selecting the folder and pressing the pencil, and waiting a few minutes, all 170-odd songs had the proper tags. Supports many file formats, so your music is most likely to work with it. Would recommend to anyone.
5 ★Works exactly as intended! Thank goodness! Massive help when you download a song and your device confuses it as a different artist, name, etc. It has a refresh feature that'll look at the information you've inputted, then utilize that to correct the inaccuracies. These are things like album cover, the album itself, and so much more! Saves so much time! The UI is also easy to use, which is always a plus. Good job with this one! I cherish it!
2 ★This is just what you need to fix your music library that's inconsistent with album covers or titles/artists. The only thing is there are issues. 1. It's usually not the first song so you have to scroll through suggestions to find it.(no biggie) 1b. The scroll function on the Galaxy S9+ is terrible! Please fix! 2. The suggested songs aren't linked to album covers so you have to sort through those. 3. Where do I add info? A lot of songs I can't find on here. 4. AD PLACEMENT! (blocks file names)
5 ★Love this app. Great nice quality album art for my MP3 albums. Simple to use for the most part. A little confusing when trying to download album art from the internet, and applying them to your tracks, but figured it out. Just make sure that you don't back out or close out of the app while the metadata for your tracks/album are updating. It can cause some glitches.
3 ★I got the paid version, it's great, and can save you astronomical amounts of time (most of the time it's accurate). But it SEVERELY needs a quick undo button, a back button on the semi-automatic batch mode, and a log of what the songs were previously called and what they're called now. I irreversiblely lost a bunch of songs due to the automatic mode mislabeling things (and my disorganization). I actually had to use Wayback Machine to find the name of a remix artist, and ask for a new copy.
5 ★Im actually surprised to see that this is a lot more convenient. Usually I would have to look up the album, look up the track number, screenshot the album art then crop it. Rather than doing all that, I look at the album/song the app thinks im looking for, and i tap it if its correct, if its not i look at other options, or put in some info about the song. So much more convenient for someone who has 90ish songs downloaded. Very useful. 10/10
4 ★Great app. Would be nice if I could label two different artists on one song separately. Edit: If you delete the app and reinstall, everything gets messed up. On one of the albums I have downloaded, it put a picture that was tagged onto the very last song and Google Play Music refuses to change it to what it is now. I'm not sure if its a problem w/ this app or Play Music, though. I still think this app is great.
4 ★Pretty great overall but I have a couple complaints. 1. Album names are over emphasized when searching for a song. All of the songs from a popular album will be listed prior to a correctly named but less popular song. 2. Album artist for songs with featured artists consistently lists both artists even if only one is the album artist. This splits up albums in players. Suggestion - have it prioritize albums i've already assigned songs to for future songs.
3 ★It's okay. It gets a lot of songs wrong. It's terrible at songs with long titles and no tagging - you have to play the songs and use something else to confirm the title because you can't rely on the recognition and you can't see the full filename! It's decent at finding album covers but it often goes to weird choices there too. I didn't buy the mass tagging because I have to verify each song as it is. Mild timesaver.
3 ★I updated to the most recent version. It works fine, but it's gotten worse in two ways: 1. Before it was able to find the metadata for a song that didn't already have the exact correct title and artist. Now, most songs need to be manually edited to have the perfect title and artist or else it won't find a match. Not very helpful. 2. When you edit songs in batch mode, it doesn't automatically clear them from the queue anymore, which is a bit annoying
