A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I've been looking for an app like this for a long time to keep track of all my travels. The only feedback and improvement that I suggest is to automatically log a country on the list when you enable the states. I love the states option to mark off each state I've visited however it doesn't mark it as a country which is very annoying. I'm assuming I would have to mark every state before it does. Another one would be to give option for color and leaving the borders marked easier to identify.
2 ★Easy to use, works well and does what it's supposed to do. I didn't try to use the online sync yet. Update: I now tried to register an account: result: it loses all data entered previously - even though it said you can take over the data from the local app. I can now reenter everything: that's no easy, will take a while and pisses me off...
3 ★Nice looking app but when you're using the list view of cities and you press the info icon, when you go back it puts you at the very top of the list, which is very annoying if you are a long way down the list. Also it somehow cleared all of the cities I had marked as "been" which was even more annoying. I've uninstalled it.
3 ★Two key problems with this app: 1. No ability to see a cumulative count of countries you have been to if you maintain a separate list of countries "been" and countries "lived" 2. This app doesn't know the flags of several countries so it just subs in the UN flag. Lame. Otherwise it's fine and serves its function. Would be nice to see the names of countries when you hover or zoom in on them rather than actually having to select them.
5 ★Absolutely love this app. It looks very professional but I'd like to make a suggestion. I don't use the states feature because it makes the map look less filled in. I would suggest making it so that if you activate states for a country, it still fills in the whole country with the same colour, but a little bit faded, and the states visited get the full colour. That way the map would look filled in but you can also distinguish states visited. Thanks.
5 ★This app is helpful, the globe is a little tricky sometimes with the way it moves, but it has alot of useful features I'm finding. You can zoom in and see the cities and states not just the whole country which is good It has lists of things you highlight in different colours for what you want to do. If you tap on a country you can press the info button and see more details and pictures and things I haven't explored all of it yet but I will give it 5 stars so far, good for a new traveller.
3 ★The app is good, but can be better. I like the idea that regions & states of certain countries become highlighted specifically if you want, but it removes highlight from the country itself. IE if I highlight California specifically I don't want the entire USA to lose its highlight, perhaps an overshadow of a different shade of the same color Also many travelers travel to places not on the map. An option should be added to add disputed independent regions such as Transnistria, ot Abkhazia
1 ★Very difficult to navigate through. You should be able to click on "countries been " and the countries you have been to should be listed! Instead you have to go through a list of every country in the world to see what you have clicked on. Ridiculous ! And some countries are not even listed on here. Frustrating! Seriously find another app This one is horrible and NOT user friendly
5 ★This is a fabulous app! Very creative! Not your standard wall paper map of the world. It lets you rotate the planet in all different directions.
4 ★I think it's great, it has a lot of freedom and the fact that it's not just countries makes it better than all the other similar apps I have seen, what would make it better: a filter for a list of cities within a certain country, state, province, etc. Instead of the global one. And maybe a different color, yellow for example, to signify countries you haven't really been, but have travelled through, like in the car or in the train, or even a wsy of custom categories in whicj you van pick yiur oen color snd name. Also maybe implement dotted lines for disputed territory, I don't mind cause to be honest they are far away from home, but I could see how it could anger people from particular countries with disputed territory. Maybe fo rf the smaller countries, like Denmark also add the states/provinces.
3 ★I think you should add airports to the app. A lot of people have been in county's airport but haven't left it. Also Scotland should be a choice as a country visited after all it is one.
3 ★Interesting but some inconsistencies in the European section. For example, why does it show Svalbard and the Aland islands as separate countries, when they are part of Norway and Finland, but won't show Wales or Scotland separately (which although part of the UK are actually countries with their own flags). I do like the map though.
