Description
No permissions for the app, but all options for you!The Keyboard Designer is a complete keyboard that can be used in all apps. It gives you the freedom to customize them, design a new keyboard yourself or, after purchasing the extended design package, import pre-made keyboards. Not only can you change the colors, but you can also freely arrange the keys and assign functions to them.
This app does not request access to the network - therefore all data remains on your device!
Hint: The keyboard of the smartwatch can not be modified on the smartwatch, please use your connected mobile device to do so and synchronize it with your smartwatch!
A keyboard must match the following requirements:
1. No connection to the internet
A keyboard is used to enter very private data like passwords. Due to this a keyboard must not request a connection to the internet. Only by this it is possible to ensure that no data can be send by the device! Also contacts or similar private data must not be accessed by the keyboard. This means: no permissions for the app!
2. Individual adjustments
The keyboard is the most used app on a mobile device. Therefore ist must be perfectly adjustable to the needs of the user! The position of the keys, it dimensions, labels, colors and borders do define the look. By the assignment of a powerfull function the user can enter a text very fast. So with this app you can create the keyboard like you need it. This means: all options to you!
3. Easy usage
As the screen size is very limited, entering a text is not easy. The present functions and their smart accessability allow the usage even in hard conditions (walk with mobile device in one hand and a coffee in the other) or for handicaped people. An edit bar shows the entered letters in a hughe way and allows to manipulate them directly. If it is not obvious which key was pressed, a resized view of the keyboard is shown with big keys. And if you ever want to do any changes on the keyboard, you can hit a key to open the designer and make it so!
4. Speed
A keyboard must react on a keypress very fast - otherwise errors are the logical consequence. This app does not use the functions to implement a keyboard that are provided by the system, but it shows all keys in a graphic. If a key is touched, its assigned function is send to the editor. Its very fast due to this simplified structure.
After the installation some example designs are shown. They alread contain all necessary keys and can be used or modified (e.g. to add your own special characters like umlauts, glyphs, change duration of pressed keys or make big keys). It is also possible to make completely new designs.

HINT: When the keyboard is selected, a hint is shown by the system, that the keyboard can collect data. This is shown even when a keyboard has no internet connection and it cannot send any data!

5 ★This. App. Rules. PERIOD. Make your dream keyboard the exact way you want it with no compromises. Incredibly detailed so it has a slight learning curve and can take a little time to get everything perfect but you only have yourself to blame for any issues. Seriously amazing. Also offers many unique features I haven't seen anywhere else. Bravo dev!!!
1 ★1/10, do not recommend. I spent about half an hour customizing to my liking, making the keyboard as short or as tall as I wanted. I removed keys that I never really used and were useless in the long run. But then I tested it out and found it nearly impossible to type without having to confirm that, yes, I was clicking that letter. I had to double tap letters to get what I wanted, no matter what setting I changed

5 ★If you want to create a keyboard that's exactly how you like it, this app is nearly perfect. My only suggestion for improvement is to allow symbol positions (vertical/horizontal percentages) to be specified globally on the Design tab. That's currently only configurable for individual keys (as best I could tell).
4 ★I like the app!but can you change the fonts?
1 ★I am trying to set up a key layout exactly as it is on a pc keyboard. A 10 key per row limit just won't do when one of the number row has 14 keys, the Q row has 14 keys the A row has 13 keys the Z row has 12 keys. The pc keyboard layout has been the standerd for 50 years now and i cant ever find the symbols i am looking fo on any cellphone keyboard. Ecpecaly when passwords require a special character, and swapping logging in from a cell phone vs the computer.
4 ★More design options than any keyboard app, so for that I like it a lot..already spent a lot of time designing my own. However, even as I type this I am back to my old Samsung keyboard. This is because, while designing is a lot of fun to me, my speed is incredibly slowed down because of the lack of predictive text & autocorrect, making it too frustrating to keep using/defeats the overall purpose. Yet I understand the developer intends to add it some day, so until then.. 4 stars for his hard work
5 ★Hello, I just wanted to say that this is a very nice and useful keyboard app. It has become my main keyboard on my Unihertz Titan phone that already has a physical keyboard. I do have a question though: Is it possible to pin for example the top row of a multi-row keyboard so that when you change the keyboard mode the original top row remains accessible to all modes? Thanks Thank you very much for your quick reply! Your suggestion has already crossed my mind and would work as well.

5 ★Its hard to learn, but possible. The app isnt for me personally but i love it anyways. Its fully customizable in every way and doesnt need your personal data. 10/10 would type again.
