Help yourself with this shiny new little widget for your home-screen. Never miss an important day again. Set up an daily countdown to new years eve, to Christmas, to your birthday or to a totally random day - just because you like daily countdowns!
If you want to customize the widget you can choose between several colors and overlays to combine them into your own designed day counter!
All of that - for free.

- This is a homescreen widget THUS IT IS NOT meant for INSTALL ON SD according to google - Apps2SD will not be enabled in this application, i am sorry.
- You didn't find a way to start this App? Well, that's because it's an Widget not an App - go longlick on your homescreen -> add Widget -> "Days Left" there you go.
- added widgets for size 2x1 and 3x1 to support more information on days left widgets
- added several new overlay icons for christmas, birthdays, cakes, softball and soccer
- added INTERNET permission to change the donate button in a later version to advertisements - Internet is currently NOT USED!!
UPDATE:
This Update now needs INTERNET access rights - altough they are NOT USED at the moment - they might be needed in a future version to enable advertisments (where the *donation* button currently is). INTERNET is NOT used right now!!

Update Phone Settings

1 ★This seems like a nice widget to add to my home screen, but everytime I try adding it, I get the message saying there's no room on my entire home screen. (Definitely not true!) I even emptied it all out, and I *still* get that message! So frustrating..
4 ★It's great ! There's just one problem, it doesn't show the correct amount of days left. Having to click on it everyday to refresh is getting very annoying. Fix it and then I'll give it a 5 star.
5 ★Whenever I'm feeling down at work, I turn on my phone and it tells me how many sleeps till I'm on the beach. Instant "pick me up"! Great little app for keeping you informed about how long until....
3 ★App is good serves the purpose well! The only issue i have faced is all timers reset back to default when phone runs out of battery and gets switched off, had to set everything back again from square one after restart. I tried doing manual restarts as well, in this case timers stay tuned as set.
5 ★I'm using this widget to keep me focused on my smaller weightloss and exercise goals. The countdown helps me keep my struggles into perspective, knowing there are only a dozen days or so until my next goal and reward are reached. It's super easy to use and change my dates, if need be.
5 ★The widget is awesome but it seems that there's an issue with this widget and the LG G4. The widget used to work beautifully on my G4, but it stopped working sometime in April. By not working, I mean that you have to manually update the widget yourself for the countdown to work. The widget started working again some time in June after a new patch... But it has stopped working again since then... So disappointed that I am not able to us this! I've been using this widget for five years!
1 ★I've had this app for years and have loved it. Use it all the time. But over the past few weeks it had stopped working. The days left never changes. PLEASE FIX IT! Using LG 3 LTE Android version 6.0
3 ★Try different settings, like countdown mode or have a calendar attached where you can set certain dates to automatically begin a days until widget starting at 30 days or a custom setting
5 ★I use this app everyday to countdown until ill be with my military fiance again and for our wedding day only 45 more days. Love seeing the numbers get smaller and smaller. Its also great to see that friendly reminder on my homescreen all the time(:
4 ★I love this widget. Put it right on my home screen so I know when my boyfriend comes home from his army pre deployment training. Only problem I have with it is it will randomly set the date back one day and I have to go back and change it. Other then that its nice to have.
4 ★I don't know if this is a glitch or something, but every time that I get back on my tablet after turning it off, every single one of the events I posted on my main app page read 28 days until I get onto an app and then go back to my main app page, it goes back to the way it was before. What the heck?
5 ★Having tried several other Countdown widgets in the Play store, I chose this one because it didn't badger me with in-app purchases for basic functionality. Tiny download, simple interface. A pleasure to use.
