Tired of having Shimeji restricted to live wallpaper only? Shimeji is a fully customizable engine that lets you construct frame-by-frame, import, or download your pre-existing Shimeji of choice easily and overlays it on top of all your apps! Have fun with your Shimeji buddy no matter where you go! And if they ever get in the way, continue seamlessly using your other apps by turning on pass through or ceiling mode! Play with up to five Shimeji at once!

What is a Shimeji?

Shimeji was originally a desktop buddy for computers. Artists would produce and distribute full image sets and plug them into the program, and the character would be off, spreading chaos and mayhem, intercepting clicks, and overall being adorable.

Now you can do the same for Android!

How to install Shimeji APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download Shimeji APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

3 ★It works well but it lacks the ability to search for characters, and if the few that do show up are all there is then it is disappointing how many don't exist, hope this helps.

4 ★The only issue is that with some animations (like the cling animations for my customized character) didn't loop the animation. Other than that, it's a great app! Loved it! :)

4 ★The only problem I have with it is that my tiny Ishimaru isn't phasing through the notification bar on the top of my screen. Other than that, I love it!

5 ★I really enjoy it. Can you add in the feature to add cloning animations? Could you also add in crawling and running? Thanks in advance. Also, you should make animations loop properly.

4 ★Its very good this made my day now im using pickachu and its cute but my problem why my rate is 4 only not 5 because i dont know where you guys got the pic or where website or app can i download pics to import it on this app i think you cannot undurstand what i am saying but for short "where you get the skins to import?" Thats it pls answer thx🙃😅

5 ★I love it works great for my phone but I recently got an iPhone and was upset that it wouldn’t work on it because I no longer will be needing this phone really hope in the future your able to add it to iPhone other than that this app is the best
