Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

2 ★Helps find good places. But usability is very poor. Most locations are missing photos, but other locations have 3+ photos, and photos are sometimes more pose focused than helpful to gain an overview of swimming location. Also a lot of navigating back & forward. @Wild Swimming team - please focus even more on what the user really needs - helpful photos of every location (not just the picture perfect spots), easy navigation & usability, local campsite tips! Same applies to books
5 ★Perfect for anyone going on holiday to France - the book reveals the hidden and best places to go swimming across the country, with lots of useful information and maps too. Stunning.
2 ★Of the six recommended spots we tried in and around the Lot Valley, only one was still applicable. They are either inaccessible (overgrown or too steep a bank) or no swimming signs have been put in place since the book/app was written in 2012. The GPS locations are accurate, but the lack of pictures meant that it was difficult to pin point exactly where to get in/out of the water. We got much better and more beautiful recommendations from asking locals, or from our own exploring.
