Date in Status Bar shows the current day and date in the top status bar. The date fits right in and appears as if it is part of the Android OS unlike some apps.

4 ★Been using this for 1 year plus now, and now since the date on the left side have been fixed, no more disappearance... I gonna raise my previous 3 star to 4 ★★★★... and I really hope the Dev would add more colours. You will get a 5 from me once more colors are added.

3 ★App fails to start the program and then you have to manually start it. Having to do this every day is extremely irritating!

1 ★Date started randomly disappearing and reappearing. Today the date had yesterday's date. Uninstalled.

1 ★Brought the pro version and loved it under Kitkat. Since my upgrade to Lollipop, leaving it on drains my battery in about 1 hour.

5 ★Pro version is worth it for the extra color options. Have long sought an app to add the DAY of the week in the status bar and pull-down menu for the Droid X (Android 2.3.4) and this is the best ad-free version found. It's when one is using app that cover the screen, often on calls, text messages, browsing, etc. that I need to know the day of the week. -- Stock status bar press only shows Month, Date, Year. But whoever designed that should of *also* included the Day as an option. -- This app satisfies that missing information when using full screen apps.

2 ★Keeps displaying yesterday's day/date. Have to hide, then show to get the right date on my Nexus 5. This ought to be fixed on a paid App Of course, no response from the developer.
