Smart WiFi Selector - always the strongest WiFi connection!
You know the problem: although a strong WiFi signal is available nearby, your device is keeping the connection to a much weaker, more distant WiFi network. You have to disable and reenable WiFi on your device to force the strongest WiFi connection. Smart WiFi Selector puts an end to this situation! The strongest WiFi connection will always be established automatically.
Advantages over other WiFi Switcher apps: * Smart WiFi Selector uses the (selectable) difference in signal strenght to decide when to switch to another WiFi. The connection to the new WiFi will happen if the signal is e.g. 20% stronger than the current signal. This eliminates the constant switching - and, with this, constant signal interruption - in the overlapping area of 2 WiFi networks. * Selectable scan interval for the search for the strongest WiFi connection * It's possible to exclude specific WiFi networks from scan * Instant scan for the strongest WiFi connection when the screen gets switched on * Favors 5GHz networks, if desired * Sleep mode with own scan interval to save battery. The sleep mode can either be triggered by time or by the connection to specific WiFi networks. For example, if there are multiple WiFi networks at work, but only a single network at home, you may want to put your home network on the sleep mode list. As soon as you leave your home network, Smart WiFi Selector will enter the normal work mode. * Option to switch to mobile data connection at poor WiFi signal strength
Because of all these benefits, Smart WiFi Selector is the most flexible and most battery-saving WiFi switcher-app in PlayStore!

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★The only app that seamlessly switches between my 2 access points with the same SSID. With an interval of 5 minutes, the battery drain is minimal. Used on an LG G8S
5 ★I moved to Android 9 and was just looking for a tool to switch networks faster. Found this instead which solved my real problem ( a big concrete house with 4 wifi networks). WHY IS IT AWESOME? * The price is right * The app is very small ( 700k? THANK YOU) * It's got a wealth of support options * It's extremely configurable, meets exactly what I want at home, the "prefer 5Ghz" option is wonderful. Great Job Alexander Tartar! Would use your other tools, but I've not the need at this time. :)
5 ★I love this app so far. Had it for a few days and so far so good. It does what it advertises it does, which is to force switch your android to connect to other networks (you connect to the networks you want and then it forces the switch between those ones) when the signal gets to a certain threshold that you set. Every device is different so you have to try setting the threshold differently depending on the device. Overall, this is a well made app and way better than others. At least it works!
5 ★This app is incredible! I have two wireless networks in my home. And android persistently holds on even when one network is at 10 percent. I'm finally able to go around my home freely and not worry about switching networks. According to the developer there is no impact on battery life. Hope that's the case.
1 ★Used to work great. On my Note 9 it has been disabled and all attempts to re-enable it don't work. The tips in the "read me" give directions that cannot be followed as the menu items do not exist and searching for any of those terms yields nothing found. Sadly, I'm back to manually switching wifi when I walk to the basement of my house.
2 ★A decent app but the trial version usable time way too short to give it a fair evaluation. Also once purchased the new version new version should automatically copy the settings from the Trial version. Once the trial period has expired in the trial app one can't even open it to see what ones previous settings were. That's just plain rude. You can stop the app from working but there's no need to block the user from viewing what their settings were ! This is a very serious design flaw specially for an app which is hoping to get people to upgrade.
1 ★Right when the free trial was over and I had to pay it stopped working!
5 ★Well, that's £1.50 well spent. App does exactly what it says on the tin, and makes my house network infrastructure work as I intended. Sad thing is, I always believed that Android worked in this way anyway, and was disheartened to discover this is not the case.
5 ★Ok so after the very quick response from the author it goes back to 5 stars, I've excluded the app from any kind of battery optimization. Works fine again, though it still doesn't show up in notification bar anymore (have to dive into the x different settings ruling this) but here's hoping the promised update might help with that. :)
3 ★Same with other user/reviewer, used this app for so long and used to work great. However since upgraded to Android 10 on S10+, the WiFi no longer switching. Tried the suggest "on-app WiFi" method but no luck. Better fix it soon, or may need to lower to 1 star.. Update on 05Mar20 I guess I might have found the problem. You must select the Location "Allow all the time" for the app to work. Now the app runs normal, finally. I just wished the developer can tell me then I figured myself. 3 stars..
5 ★I've tried several of these apps and this is the only one that that works well and works consistently. Why Android doesn't build this feature into the OS, I will never understand, but this app is a must-have if you use more than one router or access point in the same general area. Yes, the app needs to run in the background, but it's better than the aggravation of having to constantly manually switch access points all day long on your phone.
1 ★I've purchased it twice, one on my g965f and on the regular s9. I have latest Android 10 update. S9+ is rooted, the s9 is not. Both phones have use app networks checked, excluded from battery optimizations and all other settings tried. No matter what, I'm ending with really often switching of my networks, like once in a 1 - 2 minutes. Even when there is no scan performed, cause the signal is strong. I'm then reconnected to poor signal strength network and back.
