WEINLEXIKON ITALIENMit dieser Applikation haben Sie alle aktuellen Informationen über die italienischen Qualitätsweine in der neuesten Fassung. Durch die EU-Weinmarktordnung von 2009 ergaben sich viele Änderungen bei den Appellations-Bezeichnungen, bei den gesetzlichen Dekreten und bei den zugelassenen Rebsorten. Alle Qualitätsweine Italiens tragen nun das „DOP“, aber die früheren Bezeichnungen „DOC“ und „DOCG“ dürfen mitverwendet werden. Und so sind im Lexikon bei allen Weinen die neuen und die bisherigen Bezeichnungen angeführt. Unzählige Verknüpfungen bzw. Querverweise führen zu den jeweiligen Rebsorten, zu besonderen Weintypen und zu Informationen über das Anbaugebiet.
Alle Informationen sind jederzeit einsatzbereit. Im Restaurant, in der Vinothek, bei der Vorbereitung zu einer Prüfung oder einfach, weil Sie sich für das großartige Thema Wein interessieren. Mit einem Klick können Sie sich über „MAPS“ genau informieren, wo die Weinbaugemeinde oder das Gebiet liegt.
Der Autor Egon Mark ist Diplom-Sommelier und Weinakademiker mit WSET-Diplom. Er war Trainer und Prüfer bei der Sommelier-Ausbildung in Österreich. Einige sehr erfolgreiche Teilnahmen an Sommelier-Wettbewerben, brachten ihm unter anderem den Titel »FALSTAFF-Sommelier des Jahres 1992/93«. Bereits in den 80-er Jahren absolvierte der Autor die Prüfungen der „Stufe I“ und „Stufe II“ zum italienischen Sommelier, bei der Südtiroler Sommeliervereinigung in Bozen.
