1 ★Before DTE upgraded this app, it worked great for me and gave me lots of useful information. Ever since they did their wonderful upgrade, it has become useless. After several attempts to reinstall, it still won't give me daily use information and leaves whole weeks blank. VERY FRUSTRATING! I also contacted DTE and received an email requesting information, screen shots, and a promise to help troubleshoot the app. Then I never heard back from them. Total waste of time to download the app.
1 ★Updated and now does not work. No help...
3 ★Just installed solar without battery. Subscribed to the premium plan so I can see the real-time energy usage and excess production. The app indicates "missing" daily usage in the daily dial when I've produced more than consumed for the day. The bar graph is unrealistically showing an over consumption for that day. Otherwise, the realtime consumption looks realistic.
1 ★I used to love this app, but ever since having the green power plan for months it incorrectly quantifies my energy usage in several locations. The advisor appears correct but on the main screen it nearly doubles the estimated kWh used because it's multiplying it based on the expected budget. The energy is more expensive so the budget is right but the energy usage tracking (arguably the entire point of this app) is incorrect. I've raised the issue before but it hasn't been fixed.
1 ★I used to get my usage from the day before sometime around noon to 1:00 the next day. After the 8 December update, over two days and still don't know what December 9th usage was. Maybe it works wonders for the energy bridge people but its not worth anything to the larger group of people I suspect these days. The programmers of this app need a beta testing group prior to an update for the rest of the users of the app. Or they should allow a recovery to the prior version.
1 ★Used to love this app but the new update is too clunking and not as easy to use as the last version. Constantly freezes and won't load the next option you click and always says Data Missing even though my device is properly connected. Overall, the app is now useless to me because I can't see any of the data I used to be able to see.
3 ★Revised review because update has caused issues with seeing daily usage for both gas and energy. I still think it's useful but bugs need to be fixed. The DTE Insight app is super helpful for tracking energy usage even real time usage. The most recent updates to the app make it even easier to understand what you're reading, and how you're tracking against the budget you set.
5 ★Hey, this is a very Informative app from DTE concerning your energy usage over time. Today March 15, 2021, I used the newly designed DTE Insight app and it has a lot of new features that are really special and very helpful about energy usage for their customers to utilize while using the DTE Insight app. I have both the electric & gas service with them. I also have the DTE app to view my bills and make payments. Thanks DTE for all the work that you do, helping to make life a lot easier.
