5 ★This app shows a ton of promise right out of the gate. In short, it aims to give you only as much information as you're needing in the moment while maintaining the ability to delve further (love the niche filters when searching!) Overall, it's pretty, quick, informative, and easy enough to use that I'd recommend it to visitors/residents in addition to (or priority over) other apps when looking for local recommendations. There are a few things outside of content that I would hope to see implemented in future releases: -An Android share button so I'm not locked into a social media ecosystem if I'd like to show a friend a restaurant, save an event on my calendar, etc. -The ability to share/export my itinerary to other apps, especially to a calendar. -Disable the ongoing notification when app is in the background. Nothing makes me want to kill an app more than reading, "App is running in background doing heavy tasks." (Perhaps a dedicated in-app exit button?) -Minor fixes, such as Intelligentsia being listed in a city guide but not in the directory.
