Using IR:
* Receivers can be controlled using IR on select Samsung, HTC and LG devices that have built-in IR blasters (Mini-Guide requires networked receivers)
Using WiFi/Network:
* This app uses WiFi to control your receivers!
* Automatic discovery of your receivers with ability to add manually.
* Receivers must be networked (wired or wirelessly) and configured for EXTERNAL DEVICE ACCESS and given a UNIQUE NAME (this is not the default setting on the receivers)!
* Supported models (HD only): H21, H22, H23, H24, HR20, HR21, HR22, HR23 and HR24. Also supports HR34 /HR44 Genie and C31/C41 clients.
* For advanced users: One receiver can be controlled over 3G, etc. See Website FAQs for details.

Took my hubby a little while to get the codes all setup, but it works great! Our advice - don't give up until you have it working the way you want. The developer is great about answering questions! 5 ★Outstanding!!+ Volume/PWR control. I can adjust the volume and turn off my old HD JVC after getting the plug-in. Selected JVC-1 option and it worked immediately. Pointed Galaxy 4 phone toward tv to shut on/off. Reading reviews helped solve volume issue. Well worth the money.
5 ★I have had just about every remote there is and was. This one beats them all. I have a Note 4. Big Brite familiar buttons. Never a missed button. Using Wifi for DTV and IR for TV. Very strong IR, don't need to point. Very simple setup. Thank you!
2 ★I really wish you'd add some more volume controls. I have a LG, but one listed doesn't work. I'd gladly pay more for that part of the app as I'm sure others would as well. There just are NO apps out there for volume control. Please work on this!
5 ★Hands down the best Direct TV remote app. Better than the Direct TV remote offered by DTV. All 4 of my DTV remotes are sluggish. Up to a 5 second delay after making a selection. DTV says it's a DVR problem. After I told them that my android remote app works flawlessly and without delay, they had nothing to say. I wish this developer owned DTV. They're great, on the ball, and have a product worth paying for. Thanks!
1 ★It's laggy, when it actually works! Regret paying for it. The free one did a better job. Not to mention I paid so I could access the volume part and that of course did not work at all. ~ I'm using an LG G3, so no one can say it's cuz I'm using an "old" phone....
4 ★This app is awesome! It allows you to design a remote that works best for you! It controls TV, satellite box, and home theatre. I gave it a 4 star because it's a little complicated to get setup, and it also takes 3 apps to get all the features it has to offer, that I'm aware of. Once it's a little less complicated to setup and its in 1 app this would easily be a 5 star app. Definitely the better of all apps I've used, just the most difficult to setup.
5 ★I have been looking for a remote that will work through the walls for my home theater system. The more I use it the more I am amazed. If you want to hide your components get the Pro. You will not be disappointed. However the Volume and mute does not work on my Samsung TV. Must use Samsung Remote for Volume.
