Description

WetForm COE Regional Species/Manuals provides the Species Indicator status and access to the manuals for all of the following eight COE regions; Alaska, Arid West, Atlantic Gulf Coastal Plain, Eastern Mountains and Piedmont, North central Northeast, Great Plains, Midwest, Western Mountains Valleys and Coast. NOW WITH THE MAY 2016 NWPL UPDATE for ALL regions.

NOTE: the large database of species lists and manuals will require many minutes for the initial installation. The program will open instantly for all uses after the initial installation. Please be patient for the first installation.

Note: Each time a new species list update is provided, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the program. You will not be charged for this, and it will only take a few minutes. The only way to update the data files is the uninstall and reinstall process.

Many field workers still prefer the use of the paper COE wetland delineation forms. This small, low cost, program helps speed up the species indicator status lookup as well as providing complete access to the Regional Manuals that explain the characteristics of the vegetation, hydrology, and soils indicators, as well as the problematic situations. The manual access includes the original images that occur in the manual.

Access to all regions is available with no on-line access. The user can select the desired region, and then has access to that region's species lookup list as well as COE manual.

WetForm ACCESS and WetForm Android are separate products provided by Ecotone Corporation and provide the perfect combination for electronically collecting US Army Corps of Engineers (COE) Regional Wetland Delineation data and producing reports. Just one of the features of these highly automated programs is a Regional Species Lookup list, and access to the COE Regional Manuals.

WetForm also provides these different Region-specific programs that are fully automated with all logic and calculations such as Dominance, Prevalence and FAC neutral, instantly calculated. The data from these mobile programs imports directly to the Desktop WetForm ACCESS to allow editing, the addition of photographs, and the output of forms to a PDF file. You can get to WetForm ACCESS at http://www.Wetform.com. WetForm ACCESS is $400, and WetForm Android is $185. These prices are for a single region, and there is no annual subscription fee.

You can get to the WetForm Android Programs at:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=wetform&c=apps&hl=en
or by entering WetForm in the search bar of Google Play.

INSTALLATION NOTES:
1. The first time you open the program after installation, it will take a few minutes (about 5 minutes) to fully extract the large data files. Please be patient. The next time you open the program it will be almost instantaneous.

2. WetForm Regional Species/Manual Lookup has eight fairly large databases, one for each region, that install all at once. The data will take up approximately 52MB. Most of this data can be diverted to an external SD card, thus keeping more of the built in memory free. To move most of the data to an external SD card, go to Settings>Applications (or Application Manager)>scroll down to WetForm Regional Lookup and select it>Tap the Move to SD Card button. Approximately 41MB will be moved to the SD card. NOTE: not all android devices have this ability to move data to the external SD card.

3. The first time you open the program the default region will be the AGC. Be sure to select the region you actually want.

4. For quick instructions on how to operate the program see the YouTube link above, preceding the screen shots.

Note: Each time a new species list update is provided, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the program. You will not be charged for this, and it will only take a few minutes. The only way to update the data files is the uninstall and reinstall process.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
