2 ★I wanted an app to do field measure work instead of using paper & pencil. I researched a lot of apps and decided on giving Room Planner a try. It's very easy to use and the learning curve is not as large as some other apps. It's great that you can use your Disto Laser to input measurements, if you can get it to link, which I was only able to do once. I was able to link it in another app no problem, but not in this one and after researching on their website it seems this is a persistent problem. You can't lock in items in place in your plan. If you laser measure something it will move other items over so you have to go back and redo a lot of items. You can't do multiple floors so it's of no use in multi story buildings. If you have a complex plan to do it isn't very easy. I had a set of stairs with storage underneath, no way to show it easily. If you want to use the file in Autocad you have to buy their software in order to export it as a DFX I really wanted to like this, but I think this is a great app for a homeowner wanting to do a floor plan, but I don't think it's made for professional use.

2 ★Paired with a Bluetooth measuring device, this app was supposed to help cut down my time measuring existing floor plans. So far, it has not done that. When will the android version be compatible with the Bosch GLM 100C?

3 ★After waiting so long after Chief ported to apple, it doesn't work well for android. And they charge android apple free.
1 ★I bought this mainly to use the exported images in a project but they are useless because they have a massive ugly watermark on the top right. I refuse to help this greedy developer promote and sell app since I already paid for it. I tried to get a refund less than 30 minutes of installation but it did not happen. I would greatly appreciate watermark free export.
3 ★I had to pay twice for this. Once in iOs and in android. I paid less the first time, and got more out of it. Grrrrr... I ACTUALLY LIKE THE APP, BUT AM FRUSTRATED WITH THE NIT PICKING IN-APP PURCHASES.
