Sweep Ghost Box is an Instrumental Trans Communication (ITC) application. This is intended to be used for spirit communication research. The idea behind this app is to provide various sounds or "Raw Audio" that spirits can manipulate and use to form speech similar to that known as Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP).
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

3 ★It might work, I'm not sure. But there needs to be like an instruction section inside the app explaining the different settings and suggested uses for each setting change... asap...
3 ★App Crashes alot and phone once also where had to remove battery and pullmy phone holder case apart till it nearly snapped to do so. Hence 3 stars.(previously. Now 1) Only tried a couple of sessions with this yet so far itseems to mainly pick up on EVP above a certain threshold. Strong EVP.(Because sound banks run quite fast probably. Have not got to try out theupdated version) That may not be altogether a bad thing for some types ofresearch at all. You may have to wait awhile perhaps depending on locationfor EVP through this yet when received it can be quite strong and clear ifnot frequent. So you could imagine this coming into its own suddenly inVery haunted locations rather than just general locations for the reasonIt's not as sensitive as the Spiritus. It's like it was built for loudghosts/poltergeists or something more than your usual spirit box sessions.So I suppose that can make it exciting in a way! It can get stuck onrepeating a name or what have you and really lock into that I find. Lots ofspirit box's do it and there is no exception here with this app. Also youcan ask something and get no reply and then move on to another question andout of the blue it will answer the previous question that was not answeredat that time. Therefore it seems to work with stronger pockets of energymoving around that it focuses in on. Which is why I mentionpoltergeist/stronger spirit energy's. Reverse mode is good on this for morepareidolia elimination via not getting to used to any one set of sound bankperimeters etc. Echo and reverb is always good for extra dimensions to whatyou are hearing. You could leave this running or on manually activated modewith a recorder in the room/environment sat next to it and then after seewhat you may have on analysis on your return rather than hovering over itreal time. That is unless the poltergeist has nicked your mobile/tablet andrecorder! The scary version of Spiritus maybe?? *Well it was okay until theupdate. Now crashes within a minute or two. No reverb and no echo to befound! Un-chopped regular play via sound banks. Little more than the PortalApp which is virtually useless unless you actually have a Portal device.Same here now. Its a shame because the Spiritus Application is so good! Andthis I was hoping would be the same. That's the thing with download app'sthough. Unless you can transfer them to another device or store themsomeplace you never feel they are really yours as they can be updatedanytime without warning and the box and sound banks you once knew are nowgone. And you are left with an "update" of the 'Dear John' variety for youand your bank account to contemplate thereafter. And all in the name of"progress". Oh the games...... **Working better again yet still crashesafter a few minutes. That may be to do with less modern mobiles etc? Whenit does work however like the Spiritus it's one of the best devices outthere. Very clear sounding device. I've only just got to try out theupdated version yet it seems more sensitive now and more like the Spiritusapp. The Spiritus App is one of the best ITC Applications you can buy withits filters etc and this when it's working seems like it's up there withthat app on quick first few trials. Out of the Spiritus and say the EchoVoxfor example the Spiritus is really quite that much better. Much less randombecause of the noise reduction like filters. Highly recommended.
