Description
Kiosk Pro is a customized application launcher that will enable you or your organization to exhibit applications to the end user without compromising device security.While in Kiosk Mode the end user can only run and access applications that are available to them. As an administrator you control which applications the end user will have access to. You can have one or many applications for the end user to run and to test.
The end user can only access your device data from the available applications that you have selected. For example: If you only allow the end user to run the Browser application then the user can not access any of the applications on the device. They can not share files or data with other applications. They can not view your email messages or your contact. They are limited to the the Browser application.
While in Kiosk Mode the Notification Toolbar is disabled so that the user can not access incoming notifications or make changes to the device settings.
Recent application feature is also disabled so that the user can not launch recently launched applications.
As the administrator you can also disable Wifi and Bluetooth access. The user will not be able to turn them on.
Passcode is required for the administrator. This allows you to Start and Stop Kiosk mode. Without the passcode the user can not disable or delete Kiosk Pro application.
As a security measure we recommend that you enable Device Password in the Settings application in the Security screen. This will ensure maximum security in case the user tries to reset the device and bypass Kiosk Pro application.
Kiosk Pro can also be used for application control especially if you have small children. You can limit the games your children can play on the tablet.
