5 ★Very good app. first one that worked though calibration instructions were peculiar and hard to fathom due to the poorly described motion needed to calibrate. I got there by chance. then I saw a really good map background which was a first. so I give this 5 stars until it proves of wrong!
1 ★POPS UP ADS EVEN WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING THE APP. Google should ban this app. I had no idea what was popping up ads on my phone until I installed ad detector. lo and behold, it was this app. REMOVED IMMEDIATELY!! Do NOT install!!!! it's adware garbage. 0 stars if i could. App was reported to Google by the way. Hopefully developers will be booted for their deceptive sneaky tactics. Greed doesn't pay. Cheating will get you nowhere. Play by the rules!!!
5 ★I was impressed with compass overlay on map. Much better than looking for the North star. im not sure yet if it can be set up with declination data to allow me to adjust reading True North for my geographic location.
1 ★Edit to previous comment- for the last week or two have all of a sudden began to get full screen ads when I would close an any app or just wake up phone. researched and found it is this compass app. may not need alot of permissions and ads at the bottom are fine (understand nothing is truly free) but spamming me with pain in the !@* ads isn't cool. So deleting app.
1 ★best compass app?? according to who or what? what a scam. well first of all the application itself looks nothing like the app icon. it is inaccurate and FULL of disturbing ads that make the app utterly unusable.
5 ★Very easy to locate direction. In some places confusion. You can provide instruction, how to use this app properly. Many things not able to understand. How to hold your mobile properly itself not clear. So how to use instruction is must. Otherwise useful app.
5 ★First calibrate then it's good. I will do a few more tests for a final evaluation. one thing it could have is a target's direction. that means if I want to know what direction is Morocco from my current position.
5 ★Simple and clear with map and earth underlay. Dont forget to calibrate on first use by rotating in 3 planes !! Does not give a pay option to stop ads. which are rather annoying.
1 ★Popup ads! Malware delete this app immediately! Compass does not need your location at all to function the compass is built into the phone! Remove and report this app immediately
1 ★After install pop ads began popping g up and minimizing windows. I understand ads in the app, it's free, but you do not run ads outside of it. This is garbage, go elsewhere for this functionality.
2 ★The sunrise and sunset times on the weather page are wrong. I'd like to see an option for °F temp. and wind speed in mph. Also, the wind speed seems questionable.
5 ★It's like this Mister. My little adoted daughter just turned 8 and finished first grade. So still learning clocks. But digital alarm clock, can locate turn on flash light. Turn on radio, check house power out. Activate satelite check street perimeter. Find pack, clothes, water, reading to move if have to, secure area, prepare maps and plot course and sync compass and estimate travel time and weather awareness. Get Mr Blair drink of water. HA HA
