5 ★Works extremely well! I recommend using barometer-based elevation. However you must be careful when using barometer elevations. You must either record a known elevation or calibrate at some known elevation. Then you also must either adjust elevation readings for change in atmospheric conditions or else assure your readings occur with very little time difference between readings. For measurements taken over a brief period of time, this is easy. Otherwise it is hard.

5 ★My husband and I really like this app. We've had alot of fun with it while traveling and just everyday curiousity. This is the only altimeter app we've used so we aren't comparing it as "better than"...just have used it alot and been satisfied with it.

4 ★Worked, the photographed dial looks shoddy and with the black text, dark red needle on dark brown inner mat, isn't easy to read or particularly useful. If I was changing elevation quickly this arrangement wouldn't help reveal rate, the only value of analog dials over digital readouts.

1 ★Screws up completely in barometer mode, even with calibration from local barometer or data from a local airport 30 miles away. GPS "altimeter" works as designed yeah. I regret buying this. Not that I mind the money (it is dirt cheap) but it just did not deliver. Too bad.

1 ★When I most need this app I'm miles from anywhere with little phone signal. It will only work with internet. Not a lot of good at all

5 ★I actually haven't fully vested this app. I live at the edge of the Atlantic and can calibrate sea level at mean tide then climb the hill and go into the hayloft and see the results verifiably. This app serms fairly accurate. I haven't used the other features bit I won't withhold stars. These 5 stars are for ease of use, accuracy and developer involvement (nothing worse than buying an abandoned app but this guy seems cool). I dont really NEED an altimeter but somehow LG forgot to include one .

5 ★Love love love knowing what my elevation is when I'm out west! Behind my gps, my very favorite app. Did I mention I love love love it! And just for the record, I am not a robot. Just walk a little strange sometimes. Must be the arthritis :-)

5 ★Works great even when you don't have an internet connection. I have tested it many times against elevation signs along the side of the road and it it's always right. Works well in remote areas on GPS by itself.

5 ★Easy to use and accurate enough for my purposes. Used it to validate the site plan for my 5 acre lot. Was confused by some of the barometer settings, but AR tech support cleared that up after a few prompt emails. Would recommend this app for sure.

5 ★Works great, seems to be very accurate. There are three types altimeter readings, present location, GPS and satellite coordinates. Not much commercial interruptions.

5 ★I use this while hiking. I love the altitude history and how well it works when offline. I just hopped on the play store to purchase it after trying the free version for a few months. I rarely review apps but this one has a special place in my heart.

5 ★Works perfectly, shows not only the calculated output but also all relevant input data, so you can calibrate other equipment by using it (as long as you trust your phone sensors that is)
