Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★However lots of work is needed. For instamce: text taken from books needs figure references removed or hyperlinked etc, test data is in the live database, text references to beaches that aren't searchable in the database, lower case letters at the end of beach names instead of North, East etc. Favourite beachs should be the default, needs user controlled defaults throughout. Update: keeps losing saved beaches, defaulting location to 15000km from actual! Searching 'Wanda' returns only 'Menindee'...
1 ★Tells me my closest beach is over 12000km away... I am sitting on Sorrento beach! Seems to have a bug or two updating location etc on Android Samsung S2
4 ★Got everything you need to understand the beach the your visiting, including warnings and tidal information etc. Couple of things that would make it that bit better: 1. Include EPA water quality 2. Show patrols when patrols are on for non preset patrol days e.g. bank holidays. As saying unpatrolled on Australia day caused confusion. 3. and a personal one .. Change your icon on the app to the one on the store (the flat ui version)
2 ★Every time I try to check surfers paradise beach it force close. I try to report it and it says something about Google play.
4 ★Can't wait for summer. Beach details, water temp, tide info, UV index. All looks great.
2 ★Doesn't always tell you if a beach is closed.
1 ★Full of bugs and wont display size properly on my Samsung Note 3.
5 ★Uniquely accurate local info. It's perfect.
4 ★It's good
5 ★Great!
5 ★Now we just need to get the young life savers eyes off their phones and back on the water and remember people are relying on them for their safety.  Cheers
4 ★The app is a great idea, keeps closing when I search beaches, might be because I'm using a samsung S2
