La Casa delle Bambine e dei Bambini è un Centro Polifunzionale per la prima Infanzia ad ingresso libero e gratuito. Offre attività e servizi per le bambine e i bambini di età compresa tra i tre mesi e i 5 anni, le loro famiglie e/o adulti di riferimento.E’ uno spazio in cui grandi e piccoli possono vivere il proprio tempo libero in modo attivo ed autonomo. Al suo interno vi sono spazi di gioco, libero e strutturato, per le diverse fasce di età, luoghi per la lettura e per l’accesso libero al WIFI.
La CBB organizza laboratori artistici ed espressivi, iniziative di animazione ed eventi per socializzare e condividere esperienze. Sono inoltre organizzati percorsi di sostegno alle neomamme e alla genitorialità e di prevenzione sanitaria con dentisti, igienisti, pediatri e specialisti della prima infanzia. Come un’abitazione vera e propria è divista in stanze con attività e obiettivi diversi.
La CBB è una sperimentazione pubblico-privata, promossa dall’Assessorato al Welfare del Comune di Bari in collaborazione con Banca Popolare di Bari e gestita in ATS dal Consorzio fra coop. Soc. Elpendù, dalla Coop. Soc. Progetto Città e dall’APS Farina 080 Onlus, insieme ad una rete di oltre 60 partner locali.
