Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★The worst remote access app I've encountered so far. Type from clipboard doesn't work, in mouse mode it's impossible to do fine maneuvers as the cursor will just jump around at low speed, the cursor acceleration is awful and so is the cursor momentum. It feel very unnatural and tedious to use. Pros: at least it exists I guess
4 ★Works as expected
3 ★Unable to install on ChromeOS / Chromebook. Is very difficult to use on a phone, and would be trivially simple on a Chromebook comparatively speaking.
4 ★Mouse mode has been corrected in the latest release. Thank you
1 ★Mouse doesn't work. Used to work fine but as of lately, mouse doesn't work on remote. Uninstalled and reinstalled and even reset phone with no help. Went back to older 2021 version and works fine.
5 ★Just updated and it works great on a Note 20 Ultra. Love the new option to restart devides right off Atera.
1 ★Android 12 on Moto G 5g, using atera, app just tells me to install splashtop rmm. Works on pixel 4 running android 11. Upgraded phone and now app is useless
1 ★Asraful
5 ★It works well with NinjaRMM. App launches and does what it's supposed to. The UI for options like keyboard shortcuts could be cleaner, but no complaints on functionality
1 ★When I launch from Atera it says no RMM app installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Splashtop RMM. I have also cleared cache and storage. It works for others, just not for me.
