2 ★The app continuously hangs on for 3 users that I know and shows a white background screen. Sometimes the app removed the measurements I took or fails to record my weigh-in progress. This issue is less than 2 weeks, not sure if any updates were initiated. I am no longer able to switch between the different tabs/options on the landing page or access the menu. Even more frustrating, I can't weigh-in before the app hangs. You speeds response will be greatly appreciated
1 ★I am changing my review to one star. When I bought the scale I wanted to know if the scale would be useable without the paid subscription to the app and I was assured that it would. Well, technically it does. But if the entire purpose of the scale is to be numberless, revoking access to the colour system and replacing it with a number if you don't renew your subscription kind of makes the scale useless. So a year later, I'm disappointed.
2 ★App needs a lot of work o paid for the forever subscription buy it's very basic so please work on making it more outstanding for what you're trying to accomplish.. I'd like to see my body information if I choose too and this doesn't give you a break down if you want to actually see that and sometimes I do..keep working on it because right not it's just not worth what I've paid for..
3 ★So far just been using it for a few weeks. Not sure about it at this time. I am still trying to figure it out. The missions are not that helpful at this time. 😐 Noom seemed to help more with the mindset than this. It is discouraging still to step on it get a certain Color and all it tells you is to figure out what you are doing to cause that Color. If I knew I wouldn't be the weight I am now. Still not sure of this product yet.
5 ★I wish I had this years ago! It always messed me up psychologically when I weighed and I either didn't see the number on the scale move, or if it moved up...even in the slightest. The Shapa let's you know you're headed in the right direction by your color. It just works! I love it and use it every day...no longer afraid of the scale 😉
5 ★I found this app absolutely incredible. The entire user interface is very comfortable and the entire concept seems to give me way more motivation than I used to have. Will recommend this to anyone looking to get serious about weight loss/gain.
4 ★After 10 days of weighing in, I finally received my shapa colour. when I tried to go into the app, it asked me to log in ( I didn't log out). I then logged in to find ally progress gone. I now need to start the 10 day weigh ins all over again. highly frustrating!! what if this happens again??
2 ★Not worth it, can't even view your body fat %. It doesn't even work as a scale for a one-time measurement of weight, it only gives you averages. "what gets measured, gets improved" but if I don't even know my measurements but just get a color every day... What's the point? "hey can I borrow your scale really quick? Sure just step on it every day for 10 days, or a month... Or longer... Who knows" the app doesn't work well(Manu UI bugs/poor experiences) and constantly fails to measure your weight
1 ★the app insists on you waiting 30 seconds every day and then offering you a trivial daily mission ('put fruit in a bowl' - thanks I have fruit in a bowl and I also have a daily workout plan, I dont need brain dead lectures). This daily mission means you have to wait every single day to use the app. It feels like an app that the maker doesnt use themselves.
1 ★Doesn't mention that you need a shapa scale and membership to access the app beyond the questionnaire — completely blocked from the app's features otherwise. (The app description doesn't mention that the scale is required — I figured I could just manually input my weight)
2 ★Bluetooth doesn't always work. Sometimes I need to step on the "scale" multiple times and pull out batteries and replace. Very annoying. Only using this app because it is the only one my health insurance recognizes for decrease in deductible.
4 ★I really like the shapa scale part of the app and i would really like to use the mindful eating part but it will not let me select hunger or fullness. It chooses it according to someone's meal times but they are not the times I eat meals so that part is useless to me. Otherwise I would give the app 5 stars.
