ES Remote is an Android Phone app that enables Sony AV receivers to be operated via the phone’s touch screen. It is compatible with the following models.

- STR-DA5800ES
- STR-DA2800ES
- STR-DA5700ES
- STR-DA3700ES

Just like with the graphic interface of AV receivers, ES Remote has cool graphics and is easy to use. It handles basic AV receiver operations (turning on and off the power, adjusting the volume, switching input sources, switching sound fields, etc.) as well as Zone functions. That way, you can easily operate the AV receiver from the screen of your Android Phone, even in another room. The app is even equipped with a DMC (Digital Media Controller) function. Designing ES Remote in an advanced manner just for AV receivers enabled high sound quality playback of Internet service content and music files on your NAS or PC with ES Remote.

1 ★Str dn1050 I buy a new amp and you the big Sony don't have an app working for your newest old avr still after 8 months? I'm loosing interest in a few ways in supporting Sony... Started with your movie making.... You seem to thing things are a joke I guess... Not impressed

5 ★The app is awesome, I'm able to control my DA5800ES with both my tablet and my Note. I'm loving the friendly user interface, easy to navigate. Those struggling with connection, ensure on the bottom right of the app your receiver name is shown not (Demo).Under connection settings run a scan until your receiver's name is displayed , select it and you'll be ready to go.

5 ★Works great with a nice familiar GUI that mimics the 5800ES receiver. But to all these reviews below: THIS WILL NOT WORK ON NON ES CLASS RECEIVERS, READ THE DESCRIPTION. ( ; ゜Д゜)

1 ★You can call us idiot's all you like, but "Network Audio Remote" is a p. o. s. and I want this app for my DN1040. Stop ripping ppl off Sony! There is no reason you can't make an app for us that is somewhat similar to this.

5 ★You idiots keep rating 1 star, it doesn't support your reciever. Read the list of the 4 receivers it supports in the description, then shut up and download the correct app for your receiver, probably the sideview app.

1 ★SONY!! So disappointed. How could you NOT make this app compatible with ALLof your IP controllable AV receivers??? I am an AV installer and we aretesting out your AVRs and I just installed one in my house. How are wesupposed to calibrate your AVRs that are installed in another room??? And Ican't even use a web GUI on most AVRs??? Completely unacceptable and youcall them a "custom installation series"??

1 ★But I've been burned by Sony before. So to replace my receiver with a specialized in for an app. Nah. The one I CURRENTLY own should work. So when I do purchase a new receiver, it won't be a Sony.

1 ★Sad. I like the look of the ap. Usability of multiple receivers can be improved though. Consider aggregating all the zones into one list or making the selection of the different receivers less buried. Also, please provide an option for hiding the demo receiver. I don't need to see it anymore. i would add that this app is no longer working on my Pixel 3. My previous grievances haven't been addressed as well which is sad. Seems Sony has chosen to let this die.

1 ★I've tried tons of different settings and it never worked. It's the only device/app combo that doesn't work on my network. And I have a STR-DA2800ES

5 ★Works really well with the STR-DA5800ES by mimicking its controller. Considering how much nearer our phones are to us than remotes. Plus with my remote app, physical remotes are just nice things to look at.
