عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رجلا قال للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أوصني قال لا تغضب فردد مرارا قال لا تغضب (رواه البخاري) .
وعن أبي الدرداء رضي الله عنه قال: قال رجل لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم دلني على عمل يدخلني الجنة قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا تغضب ولك الجنة (رواه الطبراني)
وهذا الكتاب عبارة عن عرض لمواقف غضب فيها الفاروق عمر رضي الله عنه , فكيف ذلك وقد كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوصي بعدم الغضب , والفاروق عمر رضي الله عنه هو من أولى الناس للعمل بما وصى به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم , فهيا بنا نستعرض في كتابنا سبب غضبه رضي الله عنه .
