A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★This new update erased all of my scans in the app! I am so disappointed as this has been my favorite note taking platform for since 2017. Being able to keyword search my YEARS of scans in the app was what made the product for me and now everything is gone. Rocketbook, what the heck?? Please help me get my files back and I will change my rating. Otherwise, I think I am just going to pitch my 7 rocketbook notebooks in the trash.
5 ★I always felt bad using 5 notebooks for notes when I really needed one but chose one for each subject to stay organized. But thanks to a program gifting me a rocket book it gave me the confidence to use as many pages as I wanted for notes without having to worry about wasting too many pages of crowding my work, I definitely recommend this if someone wants less waste of paper. Yes, it's plastic, but if we make it last, it'll make the difference :).
5 ★Best thing since sliced bread.... The easiest way to keep track of and organize your thoughts, notes, ideas, tasks. Write in the notebook, type or talk in the app. Create #'s to make searching your pages easy. Scan pages in the app, send where you want it to go and keep a copy in the app.
5 ★I LOVE Rocketbooks. The app is actually amazing - or it was. The latest update in Oct 2023 has left me (and others according to users online) unable to scan our pages/notebooks/cards. Hoping for a fix soon. Update: I contacted Rocketbooks by email and got timely updates about their progress in rolling out a fix for the issue. They fixed it on their set deadline and it's now working. I LOVE my Rocketbook products and the app is essential in using them the way I need & want. Thank you!
1 ★While it's a great idea, I just could not get used to the pens. The ink is very, very light on the notebook pages and is very difficult to read. It's just as bad on standard 20 lb. printer paper. No matter how I write, the transfer to PDF doesn't work, either, leaving out letters or misinterpreting them entirely ("ankle" for "angel", for example).
5 ★Pretty good app. It's basically just a transfer app for the rocketbook product. It's extremely fast at capturing pages and the quality is top notch. This is going to depend on your phone but considering I have a 2 year old phone (LG v20) it's very responsive and the text comes out like it was written on paper. You're not going to find much in terms of editing (which isn't really the point of the product anyway).
4 ★Scanning is quick and efficient. OCR (handwriting recognition) is not so great. When using auto-send, it would be nice if the app told you where it was sent to in the pop-up message to confirm it got the destination right. Additionally, I don't like that the app is constantly scanning when I trying to turn a page. A "scan" button would be nice to start the process when you are ready.
5 ★I love this concept! I was given a rocketbook as a gift and overall it works great. I love the functionality of snapping a picture and it automatically converting it to a digital document stored in a cloud service of my choice. The only thing that could be improved is the ink pen/surface, maybe. It smears easily and over time the surface of the pages wear out.
4 ★It's neat, but it glitches. When you're done scanning and hit next, sometimes it gets stuck processing and can't send the scan, leaving your flash on and not moving forward. You have to close the app, reopen it, and then send. It wouldn't be so bad if that was just an occasional glitch but it happens more often than not. Also sometimes it will say it scanned a page but when you go to review, it is missing, and you can't reorder the scans so you have to delete the next pages and rescan them all.
4 ★the pictures come out really clear, but you can't use frixion highlighters with it without smudging. it can be hard to pick up lighter. colored pens, but over all I absolutely love the rocketbook and the app. technology can always be improved upon. to limit the waste of pens I need to look for a refillable one and frixion ink to go with it, but I haven't yet. What I also haven't looked into, but really want, is there to be an app for my computer to log into and access all of my scans.
4 ★Everything is perfect except that colors are hard to see after scanning my Rocket book Fusion. I switched the setting to better scan colors and used the flash as well which helped distinguish red, purple, and orange a little, but green and blue both appear nearly black; if I didn't know different colors were used, I would think everything was red, orange, or black which makes it harder to share color coded diagrams easily. Frixion highlighters show up very well, though.
5 ★Awesome tool for the way I work. I love the ability to organize my notes on the cloud & scan documents and receipts (remote expense reports made easy); but I think I'm most drawn to this because of ability to erase the pages. There is something super gratifying about scanning a page in and wiping it away. I used a page-per-day planner before, and would leave vast empty spaces, feeling wasteful. Now, my work planner, personal journal, shopping lists, and everything else go into this one book.
