Its a handy application which allows users to record their business transactions in the form of easy and basic double entry "debit credit: accounting. Once recorded, users can generate and export all the transactions in CSV "Excel" format to perform further analysis. This application comes with T accounts "Ledger" reports.Further enhancements to this application includes many new reports and features.
The application comes with a predefined chart of accounts for a quick start of books keeping exercise. This Chart of Accounts could be further enhanced and or amended to add or remove new accounts. Each account is to be assigned to be a category.
The application has 3 stages namely; 1. Set up : Where user defines the chart of accounts, 2. Data entry : This is where a transaction is recorded with its debit and credit components. In the same section user gets to view and export list of all of its transactions. When viewing the list of transactions, users can also edit an earlier recorded transaction, 3. Report : This is where users get to see the Ledger accounts of any account for a range of dates.
