Radio Mariam is the first Radio Maria in Arabic. It was founded in December 2015 in order to give ArabChristians a voice and to support evangelization and the process of peace in the countries of the Middle
East, answering the call of Pope Francis to help the Arab Christians, especially in this very difficult moment.
Thus Radio Mariam broadcasts began with the opening of the Jubilee of Mercy. It is a sign of the Mercy of
God in the heart of all Arabic speaking people and a sign of hope for all the suffering and persecuted
Christians.
This station will be the voice to and from the Arabic speaking Christians in the Middle East and around the
world, with their culture and the multifaceted religious heritage of the different churches to which they
belong.
