The Geo-data for Agriculture and Water Facility (G4AW) of Netherlands Space Office (NSO) has implemented a project titled ‘Intelligent Decision Support System (IDSS)' for farmers. The services of IDSS are rendered under the name ‘Fosholi’ in English and ‘ফসলি’ in Bangla.

The project is intended to leverage geo-data to gather, target and propagate relevant information to farmers when they need it, in a viable way. With the vision initiate change and to positively affect the lives of millions of smallholder farmers, this project leverages new technology in the advancement of the grassroots of the country’s agriculture. We ask for your attention, advice and support in this regard.

The services of this platform are broadly classified into the following areas:
Pre-cultivation: Select the most suitable crop variety by location and soil condition.
Cultivation: Get crop production related accurate information and pest & disease alerts in advance.
Post-Cultivation: Find locations of nearest markets, price and advice on crop storage.
Weather forecast: Reduce crop damage by using timely forecasts and disaster warnings.
My Crop: Obtain location specific and crop specific customized agronomic advices for full crop season.
Knowledge Bank: Learn about advanced agricultural information and technologies.
Farmer’s Toolbox: Use advanced agricultural tools and practices for maximum productivity.
Question Bank: Submit questions with pictures of your plant’s condition, land and other conditions and get answer to queries from the agriculture experts.
