3 ★I understand sometimes the updates cannot work as expected. But if the latest update got the connection problem for most of the users, can you just release the last version while you fixing the problem? It is ok with the delayed update but it is not ok that we can just wait for you to fix the problem! What if some user are traveling with the anafi? They don't have the chance to go back after you fix the problem.
2 ★Great drone, terrible software, slow customer support. I bought this drone a little over a year ago. Everything was just as expected, and then some. Over the course of a few updates though it got worse. In flight plan mode it stops at every waypoint when initially it didn't both with the option on & off, follow me stopped following me, and more. Then I tried to get the camera repaired under warranty because of a few dead pixels I found, they only replied once to my email then radio silence.
4 ★Everything seems to work much better after the 6.4.0 update. Still a few bugs and I still miss the option to see my drone speed in Km/h and I wish the HUD info (speed, distance, altitude, etc) would be a bit larger. Anyway, more features and the app is much more stable, now. Good work, Parrot (updated from 1 to 4 stars).
1 ★Worked fine until update. Now this 900$ drone is a paperweight. Please fix your software. Everyone! There is a 10$ program that works, its call Auriga Anafi. Just throw this Parrot trash software away.
5 ★Works Perfectly! I don't see why everyone is complaining about this app because mine works perfectly. I use it on a both Android and IOS phones and have had no issues. I hope to continue having great results with it as I learn to use it. I think people are either not following instructions or doing something to get mixed results. I recently saw that the phones wifi needs to be off when using the sky controller good to know because I have been having mine on so I'm glad nothing bad has happened.
3 ★A fun drone and easy to use app. Only issue I have is that the app will crash and I have to open it again every flight. I can be back in the app within 15 seconds but it's annoying. Also the range is greatly effected by wifi interference. I feel the drone is responding to the remote commands but the video stream becomes very poor from about 150 to 200 meters away. Lastly, the subject tracking will lose the object most times. Fun feature but when I've done orbits or flyovers it will usually lose the subject about 75% until completion. So small improvments would up my rating.
1 ★I have deleted my previous rant about this app and thanks to Adam at Parrot support I now understand better how to get the Anafi and Freefilight talking. It was all to do with calibration especially after a crash or incident. Adam was extremely patient and understanding and we went through everything step by step. Obviously I will rerate this to 5 stars and the drone and app do exactly what I bought it for. Sadly an update has screwed my connection again. I am trying to delete F6 from my devices and looking for an earlier version to get it working again.This really is not good enough. I do not have these problems with DJI ??? Job I had today had to be cancelled ?? Thats a pay day lost ???
2 ★Parrot you've killed it!! I've been using a bullet proof sony experia for years with drone apps, including DJI and especially Freeflight6 from the very start and always been happy, however this latest update has totally lost the camera view from the drone, I have tested the phone and the drone, and reset the phone and installed software again to no avail!! Looks like I'm grounded until you fix this or I buy a new phone! Which I'm reluctant to do as you can imagine!
1 ★My review goes hand in hand with the Anafi drone review. I'm on my 2nd Anafi unit right now, because the drone did not respond to my controls and flew into a building. Recently (after the last update) my Anafi dropped to the ground mid-panoramic shot for no reason. Flying conditions were great, it was fairly close to me without any obstructions and the battery was fully charged. My 2nd Anafi is damaged now and Parrot refuses to do anything for me now. Even if they did replace the model I would be scared to fly this thing due to the issues I have experienced. If you are in the market for a drone and doing your research, I highly advise you not to buy the Parrot Anafi and not to download this app. I contacted Parrot in regards to this issue and they are not willing to work with me on this. The replacement models apparently only have a 3 month warranty period where as the initial model has a year. My replacement model is currently 4 months old, but I'm still within he warranty period of the first unit. Are the sending less reliable replacement models? Why would there only be 3 month warranty on this? This behavior from Parrot confirms my rating.
3 ★I've had the Anafi for about 6 months now and I've had an amazing experience up until the last two updates. My drone has fallen out of the sky twice now and it sometimes moves on its own without my touching the control sticks. I've seen some other conplaints on YouTube. Please advice. How do we fix this issue?
5 ★*** Updated update fixed the issue. App works now. Thanks Parrot. *** This latest update has crippled my ability to fly my Anafi. All I get is "Synchronization failed. Check your Internet connection" messages even when my Lenovo P10 tablet is connected to my home wifi system. Same issues with my Pixel phone that also has unlimited LTE data. The update to 6.6.6 originally worked on both devices until I closed FF6 on each device. When I reopened the app on each device I began to see this issue.
4 ★Great app and a necessity for the drone. It has loads of options and customizable parameters for the perfect experience. I've never used it to fly the drone, however. I use the controller for that. The Follow Me option is nice and works well, along with the other flight modes. My only complaint is that the map doesn't always load so you just see a blank grid. Even if you preload the map, it still doesn't load.
