5 ★What do I say about this app. The Parrot Ziks are excelent noice cancelling headphones to begin with. This app however unleashes the full power of the device and allows personalisation like I've never seen for such a headphone. The custom settings by Lou Reed is an excelent addition too. You can also push firmware updates to your headset through this app with no hassles at all! So many enhancements and some needed fixes have been pushed already. SWEEET!!!!!! I'd give this 10 stars if it was available.
3 ★I'm on my third pair zik's; not by choice , but they're still the best on market. Problem is that I'm on my 3rd pair. They look and feel durable but are not as solidly built as they feel. Yet, I bought a new pair for lack of a better sounding and more durable pair of BT/ NC head phones being on the market. If these were gym durable I'd rate them a 5. No I didn't break the previous at gym. App is satisfactory.
5 ★I don't know what everyone else is complaining get about in terms of the app. It took me a few minutes to run through the app, user guides menus and settings. No adverts and a very easy to use user interface. I do have the latest version of the app so that could explain it. Love the app, love the speakers. Only concern I had initially was the drop in sound quality as the app came online and updated the headphones via bluetooth but that was because the app equaliser had overrided phones equaliser.
2 ★App works great. The Lou Reed setting is awesome. I've never been able to customize my listening experience thus much on anything other than a true stereo. But Parrot, seriously, ads? For your own freaking headphones. I just bought a pair. Everytime I go in to mess with the settings I have to see it got like ten seconds. I just bought these headphones. The one's you're showing me. The one's I just spent a good deal of money on. The one's that are also sitting on my GD head.
5 ★I've had the Parrot Zik headphones and audio suite upon its initial launch just over 4 years ago. I will not purchase or borrow another type of headphones! This App is amazing and I feel for those that somehow have troubles. Tip: (Purchase an additional battery on the Parrot site for international traveling.) HTC/Note3/GalaxyS6 Edge+
5 ★As an early adopter of the Zik headphones I would first of all like to thank Parrot Team for the continous support they have offered this product. Secondly I am more than enthralled with the latest firmware release (1.09) and would like to report nothing but good stuff. Don't know how you did it but you just made the greatest bluetooth headphones sound even better (all without Apt X) Concert hall effect no longer distorts the stereo imaging and Lou Reed mode just got better (for all you true rock lovers)
4 ★Good app - does what it is supposed to do. The "banner ad" that others are complaining about is a simple 2 second splash screen that displays as the app is loading. And persistent notifications?? Ok, that is a bit annoying, but you can disable notifications at a system level by going Settings -> System Manager -> Application Manager -> AS.Parrot and unchecking "Show notifications" for that individual app. Problem solvered.
1 ★I had to remove this app due to the persistent notification bar and ad. What I do now is to turn off all equalisers, concert hall mode, lou reed before uninstalling, and just use the Parrot Zik headphones with poweramp without this app.
4 ★App works fine but it wont just turn off i have to force stop it everytime I turn the app on. Which in my proffession of selling headphones gets bery irritating having to do that upteen times a day.
5 ★Great app. No ads, just a loading splash screen. Works faultlessly on my Note 3. Lou Reed mode is great as is the equaliser. It updates the headphone firmware and shows you how much battery is left too. I like the notification in the top bar as it makes it easy to change the settings. You can also set power off and noise cancelling. Makes great headphones even better. Don't be put off by the nay sayers. I almost was and am so glad I wasn't. Thanks Parrot!
