What is Zabihah or Dhabīḥah? 🐏
Animals like cows, sheep, chickens, etc. are Halal, but they must be Zabihah (ذَبِيْحَة) (slaughtered according to Islamic rites for Muslims) to be fit for consumption.
Some chemical additives are not halal (حلال), since they come from animals that are not Zabihah or Dhabīḥah (ذَبِيْحَة), thus they are haram for the Muslim who consumes them. 🐓
To ensure that a product containing animal remains is Dhabīḥah (ذَبِيْحَة), you need to ensure that it is stamped by a trusted Muslim organization.
This app will not tell you whether a product is Zabihah or not, but what it will tell you is whether the additive contains animal remains and you based on whether you are in a Muslim country or not will know if it is halal or mushbooh.

1 ★Better than other halal scan apps. But why do you want to place ads on the app. For Muslims this is really irritating because you see humans in bad forms in ads. And if you then question yourself how you are then able to get money? Just put a donation button. You will receive halal money without irritating anyone. Also ads is not a good thing too add to your app as a moslims. Because as I have said you see women's in bad shape in the ads.
5 ★Just a champ.this app is very useful for muslims.i would give 10 stars if i could.but some improvement is needed.firstly,sometimes it doesn't detect additives.(i think it happens if the 'ingredients' word is not clear in the packet and some products only give the code number which doesn't contain the word 'E'.in this case,i have to search the codes individually.)Secondly,it doesn't detect INS codes.thirdly,it would be good if this app gives us suggestion of what to do with mashbooh products.
4 ★The scan option in this app is great, but in the cases that a food is not halal, it is better to show which ingredient has problem. Then it can be double-checked. Thanks for your effort.
1 ★It was very good. Now it is useless, only scan baroda! And then no certification. Where is the feature of ingredient checking went? Why it has been removed. I depended on it before most of the time, now it is total loss.
5 ★Assalam O Alaikum, this app is GREAT. I've tried this other app, but it doesn't have the feature that lets you scan ingredients on a product. It seemed to only work in America or something, so I tried this app, and it works! I highly recommend you all to get this app, so you can make sure the product your eating or drinking is halal. It's also good so when you're at the shops you can quickly scan the product as well. Also, make sure you do a bit of research on the product as well.
5 ★I really appreciate this app and for the first time i can say that i acctually like the notifications i get because they include random facts about health & many fruits/ vegetables etc. which increased my knowledge and understanding of the sunna of the prophet (s.a.w.) with an explanation and biological details/facts. Also you can take a picture of the ingredients list or scan the code on whatever food you get and it lists all the additvies and in which country they are permitted or not & more!
5 ★I believe overall I am happy with the services and info provided by the app, efforts of the development team to make it better, daily notifications. Despite the scan feature issues that arise from time to time, it is fair to say to the team 'Thank You' for allowing us to know the halal from haram, please continue with improving the app. Looking forward for the best, 😊
3 ★The default status is Halal which is misleading. Regarding my previous review:I scanned a product's barcode, the result was halal with no additives info. I used camera to check ingredients of the same product, it showed Haram. If you want I can send the screenshots of my scans via email. In short, if a product is unknown by the app, it may show halal with barcode scan,but may show Haram by checking ingredients. The default output of barcode should be "unknown please check with ingredients" etc.
2 ★First of all I would appreciate your efforts to create an APP for Halal and Haram products. Developer of this APP has a good intention for all Muslims, may Allah Talah accept your good deeds. Data base of this APP need to be updated and also be corrected, because many products are showing Mushba and Haram which in fact aren't so please when you guys linking the barcodes make sure all the ingredients are properly checked.
