Download PenCake - simple notes, diary APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

3 ★I really like the app but sometimes there is a glitch that causes the writing to overlap. Trying to backspace makes the letters worse and the words all join together. Everytime this happens I have to restart the app and it is frustrating me. Please fix the bugs and I'll change the rating because I really do like the app and I want to continue using it.
4 ★I really love this app! It's very functional yet aesthetically pleasing to look at. A pretty app :) It would be nice if you added the feature 'italics'/ 'bold' to the letters & an option to see all the stories/folders you have without having to swipe through them all. Other than that, I like it :) Have good day and stay safe. ♡
5 ★I bought the premium after a few minutes. Great app for distraction-free writing. I'm using it as my meditation journal. I like that it's solely focused for writing and it doesn't have mood trackers and all. Maybe a tag feature would be nice. Also a web site view so I can write on my laptop?

1 ★I liked it. But I bought premium and now it's deleting the story when I add a new one. And when I emailed support no one responded. Also now that I've had to switch phones, everything I wrote after purchasing premium is completely gone. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
5 ★Great app for writing and journaling. Simple and easy to use. Very aesthetically pleasing. Well worth the nominal price for premium version. I would like to see more font options (fonts, italics, bold, colours). Having tried many other apps this one is top class. Many thanks.
5 ★Buying the premium is the best decision I've had. It's my favourite writing app now, due to the simple and minimalist interface. I like all the features that PenCake offers, though I do have suggestion that I would want to have in it. I hope there'll will be a challenge feature, like a timer(ex:write for 20 minutes a day) or word challenge(ex:write 250 words a day), one which user can change suitable to their own needs. This feature would benefit someone who want to build a writing habit.
4 ★Do give the option to remove, "Tap here to edit the title." It ruins the clean look. Also add an option to hide the status bar. Rest all is great.
5 ★It's a really great app for organizing journals and notes. The layout and functions are pretty basic, though I enjoy the simplicity of it. I liked it so much I paid for the ad removal and other features. I hope my fellow writers and story tellers will enjoy this app as much as I do.
2 ★Love the minimalist look, some of the features are great too. However, it's a ball ache to sort files and deleting unwanted notes is more difficult than it should be. In all it is a good app, but there is a lot of room for improvements.
3 ★Almost perfect. Distraction-free, simple, clean UI. The major problem is it has no spell-checking or simple formatting options. Works on both Apple and Android devices, which is nice. Just wish I didn't have to copy-paste to another word-processor to check spelling.
3 ★Can you please fix when you go to type something above already written text and press enter or return to move the previous line down it goes over all the other text and overlaps. It's been that way for a few months. No new updates since May :( waiting for new features for months now.
