لقد قام المؤلف الباحث الأستاذ جهاد الترباني بتصنيف هذا المبحث نظرًا لأن أحد
أساتذة التاريخ الأمريكان ويدعى البروفيسور مايكل هارت قام بإخراج كتابٍ يذكر فيه
50 ا سخصية في التاريخ الإنساني ، يرى فيها المؤرخ الأمريكي من وجهة نظره أنها أعظم
ْ)"ا سخصية في التاريخ البشري عبر جميع العصور والأزمنة ، حيث وضع على رأس
قائمة المائة رسول اللّه ! باعتباره أكثر الشخصيات تأثيرًا في تاريخ البشر.
إلا أن الباحث التاريخي جهاد الترباني رأى غير ذلك حيث أن المؤلف الأمريكي لم
يميز في الشخصيات التي اختارها بين الصالح والطالح ولا بين العظيم والمجرم .
وأعظم دليل على ذلك أنه وضع مجرمًا مثل جنكيزخان في قائمة المائة الاكثر تأثيرًا
في التاريخ.
كما وضع النازي هتلر كأحد أكثر الشخصيات تأثيرًا في التاريخ أيضا.
إضافة إلى بوذا الذي رأى الكاتب الأمريكي أنه كان يستحق ألىْ يتربع على قائمة
المائة وألىْ يتقدم على رسول اللّه ! لولا أن أتباعه كانوا قلة على عكس أتباع رسول اللّه
الكُثر.
ولقد أبحر الترباني في تاريخ العظماء من أبناء هذه الأمة بأسلوبٍ سيق وعرض
مثير.
وهذا الذي ميز كتابه عن سائر الكتب التي خرجت في هذا الباب .
وأسأل اللّه عز وجل أن ينفع بالكاتب وبكتابه وأن يجعل عمله خالصًا لوجه اللّه
سبحانه.
