Only use this app if you have the Dexcom G6 or G6 Pro CGM Systems.
Always know your glucose number and where it’s heading with the Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems –indicated for diabetes treatment decisions with zero fingersticks and no calibration.* A core feature of the Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Systems is providing users with alarm/alerts based on their glucose level.
*Fingersticks required for diabetes management decisions if symptoms do not match readings.
Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro provide real-time glucose readings for patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes every five minutes. Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro are indicated for children age 2 years and older.
The Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Systems provide personalized trend alerts right on your smart device and lets you see when your glucose levels are going too low, or too high, so you can better manage your diabetes. The Alert Schedule** feature lets you schedule and customize a second set of alerts. For example, you can set the schedule to match your work hours and have different alert settings during the rest of the day. Custom alert sounds are available, including a Vibrate-Only option on the phone for glucose alerts. The only exception is the Urgent Low Alarm, which you can’t turn off.
The Always Sound** setting, which is on by default, allows you to receive certain Dexcom CGM Alerts even if your phone sound is off, set to vibrate, or in Do Not Disturb mode. This will allow you to silence calls or texts but still receive audible CGM Alarm and Alerts, including the Urgent Low Alarm, Low and High Glucose alerts, Urgent Low Soon Alert**, and Rise and Fall Rate alerts**. A Home screen icon shows you if your Alerts will sound or not. For safety, the Urgent Low Alarm and three alerts cannot be silenced: Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped.
Other features:
Share** your glucose data with up to ten followers in real time. Followers can monitor your glucose data and trends in real time on their compatible smart device with the Dexcom Follow** app. Share and Follow functions require an internet connection.
Health Connect access so you can share retrospective glucose data with third party apps
Quick Glance allows you to view your glucose data on the lock screen of your smart device
**Not available on Dexcom G6 Pro System

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Same as the other reviews....I had a note 8 phone and when I upgraded my (3) year old phone and got a Samsung Note 20 Ultra and found out it isn't compatible. Looking at the people that has the S20 and how it took 7 to 8 months to make that phone compatible is none excusable. I can see taking 2 months maybeeeee 3 tops! But to take over half a year is insane to me. Thanks Dexcom for making diabetes complicated as it always has been but was manageable when I had an old phone.
4 ★Today, almost ANOTHER miracle. Samsumg pushed out an OS update and the app still launched!! As always sensors and hardware get 10 stars out of 5 (yes, I love the hardware). I can't give 5 stars because of the software design decision to block the app from working on new/untested phones. However, certainly 4 stars as Dexcom appears to be listening to us and got newer phones supported despite Covid. Never forget Dexcom, just let the app run on everything, you've already got the disclaimer.
2 ★I love this app and had it on my phone. But once I upgraded to the phone I have now I can no longer use it and have to carry my receiver around. One of the biggest perks was lest stuff to carry around so this is a pain in the ass honestly. Cannot wait for it to be available on my android devices and ideally be able to share it with my husband's phone ...
1 ★Not compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S20. I asked months ago when it would be compatible with this app and they said they were working on it. Still not compatible and I've had my phone for 7 months. Dexcom please don't leave a generic response about what Android phones are compatible with the app. I don't want an older phone. This app should be compatible. The S20 has been out for over 7 months, what's the hold up?!?!?!?
2 ★I got a Samsung 20 and the app didn't work for months. So out of the blue, I decided to get on and it worked! Then not even 5 minutes of it "working" it told me that my device was not compatible. It worked 5 minutes before??? I loved being able to see everything when I had my s9+. It really sucked going back to the receiver, as it isn't as reliable and I tend to forget that more than my phone. Forever wishing the app works again
1 ★Had to get a new phone, and the app says it is compatible, but when I sign in, it says to install it on a compatible device! So over all of this stuff. I got a Note S20, and can't get it to work. PLEASE UPGRADE YOUR COMPATIBLE DEVICE'S! I LOVED THIS APP UNTIL IT WOULDN'T WORK, AND I'VE BEEN USING IT FOR OVER A YEAR NOW!
1 ★After a few months of using the system I love the sensor and HATE the app. It looks like little concern was put into the design, concept, and usability of this app. My biggest pet peeve is the lack of settings for alerts. I have to mute every setting on the phone, to keep it from blasting (veyy loudly). Even then lord forbid I am in my car with my family listening to an audio book. It will pause whatever I am listening too and blast the alert even though all the settings but bluetooth are off.
2 ★It keeps losing the connection! I've got an LG G7 phone that is in perfect working order as I'm old and don't use it alot. It's got a nice case and screen protector cover. Even when phone is in my pocket, literally right next to me, or 1 ft away on the desk while I sit at my computer chair it loses its connection! And at night I wanna be able to readily reduce my warnings, it's too hard (if that's even an option) and too loud! I need sleep! Can't have this thing screaming at me every time it los
4 ★It's a good app however one problem I noticed is when I'm reviewing past blood sugars over the last 24 hours and scroll back in time I can only see the time and graph but not the actual blood sugar number on the chart (I get "--- mg/dl". Otherwise it's good!
2 ★I loved this app until i had to get a new phone. Buying a phone is a major expense so i didn't want to get an older phone. I just don't understand why it takes so long to make phones compatible. i have a Google pixel 3. Update: 2 years later and the same problem. The phones that are compatible with this app are OLD. I love my dexcom and the app except for this issue. I can't get current tech because your app is not compatible. You advert using your cellphone but don't say how limited it is.
1 ★The graphing of your blood sugar as well as pairing with other apps such as the Glooko app to sync all your data together is nice. However, the UI is terrible and poorly designed, the syncing of the sensor works most of the time but has errors, and theres no option to silence the alarms for more than 5minutes when your taking care of fixing your sugar. Theres also major issues with the accuracy of the sensor, more than a few times the sensor is off by a range of 30 or more. Quite a bit to fix.
3 ★Ok...The Dexcom Compatibility Tool says Galaxy S20 is compatible but I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra. Is there a difference, if so, why and when WILL it be compatible? (I previously had a S8 and it worked perfectly....but when I upgraded to the S20 Ultra all if a sudden it won't work)(it came out basically the same time the S20 did)
