1 ★The Google Play Store app info says there is a 7 day trial. Nope, only an opportunity to pay. No return email from Autodesk regarding this either. Bad. No help menu. Worse, no user manual. Youtube is no help either. Flat out disturbing. It is full of old 'private' movies that you can not view. Many of the few available are from the previous outdated version. The Autocad App is full of opportunities spend more money, join social groups, share whatever and other la-de-da things. Great for those who those who want to use a Cad app for such entertainment. I just want to draw. Honestly, a pencil, ruler, compass and a french curve get me there faster. Tried to open a simple DWG file. An error message says that the app can't open that type of file and asks if you want to search Google Play for one that does. HUH? Try it yourself. Subscribe. But first, read their cancellation policy above carefully, as I did before paying. " Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless cancelled at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. ...You will not be able to cancel a subscription during the active period. " What? Read that Catch 2 again.. Does not compute! Do the time math on those declarations. It means you can't cancel. Please fix this erroneous policy statement. Further, there is no opportunity to get a refund within 15 minutes as with other apps. Enough. If anyone has a completely opposite experience, please bring on the links for all of the above missing support to this page. Thanks. I would rather see something other than sandbox functions on a $72/year app than press the delete key on it.
1 ★The new update is terrible. The older version wasn't the greatest but at least it was usable on my note 9. Now I have to use the web version to do any work as the mobel version doesn't work. I have lines which are in different colors that don't match the colors I had origonally chosen and I can't change them back. I can't download my files to pdf format nor can I print them. All I can do is look at my drawings. Nothing like the original autocad program.
2 ★You can't adjust things by dimensioning and you can't adjust the size of an object by typing in Dimensions after you initially make it means you have to do a lot of things by guesswork and eyeballing. This is not acceptable for CAD work. I cannot believe AutoCAD would put out something so fundamentally flawed. Hopefully they will fix it soon because their competition is blowing them out of the water.
1 ★ACAD P.O.S. : Its for kids. No 3D features or modeling capabilities, just view. You have to register to try, which is a gip and misleading. I hope someone comes out with a better drawing program that is cheaper and more robust. I'm hoping the Vietnamese, Chinese or Filipinos come out with their version and stomp the B.S. Autodesk puts out.
1 ★This app has recently went from good to not worth a darn. I will delete the application if it doesn't revert back to the old version. It is useless at this point. For that reason I don't give it any stars!
3 ★Not worth your time if your drawings don't open correctly on the app but they do in web browser. Support doesn't get back to you after weeks of trying to contact someone to find out why. Would be great if it actually worked like it is supposed to. Especially if you are on a job site.
1 ★Don't get this app. The damn thing starts with a page asking which version you'd like that doesn't have any prices attached to it. There's a free trial, but no idea how much I'll be paying when it renews. Obviously uninstalling right away, as soon as I figure out how to cancel the subscription, which they don't make easy. Absolute nightmare.
2 ★Not as good as using the computer version. The app still needs it of work. The Android version does have more features then the IOS version but if you are trying to use an app to switch between IOS and Android quickly it is not good. And when you try to download the file it is nowhere to be seen. It's not the worst but it's not good either.
4 ★Pros: Great for my field of work. Was able to design a very ornate ranch gate for a customer in a day! Very simple and easy to use. After i was done i was able to export my design to a pdf and email the final drawing. I use a Samsung Note 9 so having a stylus on hand helped tremendously. Cons: Crashes alot but fortunately it saved my data so i never lossed any progress. I did also see lines and objects i drew dissapear when i zoomed in but reappeared when i zoomed out and back in again.
1 ★I had to spend a lot of time trying to figure out why I can manage an object's properties so I could eventually develop a 3D model. After a lot of searching I eventually came across fine print on a help page saying that only iOS users can manage next properties. Very frustrating.
2 ★i don't like that it is not a free app, at least put in ads so it can be free for longer than 7 days. Another thing i found is that circles aren't circular. They are just made up of lines, so when you zoom in on them there are angles. For what i am trying to do with it, this is very annoying.
1 ★not a good app at all ! it closes out everytime you get into a drawing and its it has some bugs that needs to be fixed. and it seem like from what i can tell from the reviews its not goin to be fixed anytime soon. i will not even finish out the 7 day trial not with the money.
