A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★I love the MeWe platform, but the app, not so much. The notifications tab randomly clocks. Photo and video upload are excruciatingly slow, you can't cancel a video upload once it's started, and if you close the app while uploading video the current attempt endlessly restarts. The main feed may or may not refresh on opening. Profile information is inconsistent between the app and the website. A lot of the in-app text and notifications are in a very strange broken English. Support is unresponsive.
1 ★I wanted to love this app. It's everything I'm looking for in a Facebook replacement. However I'm unable to upload videos. I've tried it from my phone multiple times, from my computer, and my husband has tried from his phone and computer as well. Everytime the upload starts it hovers around zero percent and then after about thirty minutes it vanishes. This is beyond frustrating. For the record I was able to post status updates, photos (although very slowly,) and occasional IM messages.
5 ★got the app in Nov. So far I can say it is a good alternative to Google+. I have zero problems with the site or app itself. Though I wish MeWe had collections or something similar to that, but I'm not complaining. One thing I'd like to see be done though is to be able to edit pages. I wanted to see how they worked so I made one, expecting to delete it after but you cannot delete nor edit the page.
5 ★I am loving being ad-less, track-less, and in control of my personal data. I've even moved a group I had on Facebook here, in addition to my personal presence. The app itself is intuitive and easy to use, and has great features. I like being able to keep my group members separate from my personal contacts. Some have complained about having to pay for certain features, but I'd rather pay a couple of bucks than trade my privacy and personal data for "free" services. Very pleased with MeWe!
4 ★Off to a pretty good start. Lacks several necessary features but I feel in time they'll arrive. Need to be able to clear notifications, be able to share to outside sources from the app, and a few other things. Update: One thing I really wish didn't happen is when you shut your screen off or open a video/picture in the app, after turning the screen back on or go back to the feed it goes to the most recent post.
4 ★Been on the app for a couple of months after dumping FB. Not too bad of an experience. App is fairly polished and runs well on a 2 year old phone. I'm not a big fan of the automatic notifications. You will get pinged every time someone in a group posts, messages, requests a contact, etc. You can shut all of this off however pretty easily. Overall, I'm pleased with the app and I still use just the free version.
5 ★So far, the experience with Mewe has been good! Similar to facebook so it is relatively easy for the less tech-savvy to navigate. Much appreciated! Thanks for offering an alternative to other heavily sensored social media. 2 concerns however. 1) Very difficult to locate folks on the search feature. Most have been found via other friend's lists on their profile. 2) The fact you're run out of San Francisco! 2 friends have already punted Mewe because they think it's a liberal intel-gathering front.
3 ★Good app. Latest update ruined text format. Whenever a friend post something like a list for example, the text is all jumbled together in a paragraph. It wasn't like that before. In previous versions of this app 6.1.3.3 The text format would match proportionately. Please fix this as it's an unnecessary inconvenience which makes me want to use it on the desktop instead. Thank you
5 ★Been on Mewe a few days now and I really like it. Using it has a pretty small learning curve because it's a lot like FB without all the ads, personal information theft, and data mining. Something I think that could use improvement is posting articles and stuff from other sites. Seems like a lot of times it just wants to post the link and not a headline or really anything to go with it. Not a dealbreaker though by any means. Great app!
4 ★It's taking a little time to navigate and remember where things are. The platform is very similar to FB, and ...again, it has to be navigated. Maybe if there was a tutorial on "how to" things would flow more smoothly. I like that you can chose any emoji you want. Not sure how to find friends without joining groups. I don't like that it keeps dropping contacts and photo's I have up, but that's a knink that can be fixed. It seems to be more of a political platform verses a social platform.
4 ★Excellent alternative to ZuccBook for people interested in being able to see what they want on their timeline in chronological order. Also, it doesn't hate nipples and doesn't use 80%+ of my phone's memory and processing power when running. It is a little bit sparsely populated and has some of the QoL issues you'd expect from a social media platform with a somewhat limited user base, but it definitely has the potential to replace Facebook with a few minor improvements.
4 ★The user experience as far as intuitive design could use some work. It's laid out differently that many other social media apps I'm used to so it's taking some time for me to learn how to use it. But otherwise I love the app so far. It's been great for keeping up with others on hunting, farming, and dog sports. Something that's becoming increasingly difficult of Facebook because they've decided to kiss Peta's ass. So I really appreciate this platform.
