We strive to provide an experience that’s easier and better for consumers and their agents. And we believe it can be done in a way that benefits the broker and MLS, too.
Agents and consumers have, for too long, had to copy, paste, email, and text property links all over the place as they went through their home search.
This didn't make much sense to us.
So, our idea: combine a great mobile property search experience with a familiar text message like interface so that working and communicating with others through a home search was simple.
Imagine texting property photo slideshows, not just links; enabling multiple conversations between your friends and family; even enabling chat between two agents that have full access to agent-only listing information.
Share, save, comment, chat ... messaging meets home search. 100% mobile, 100% better than the old way. That's what the next evolution of HomeSpotter is all about.

5 ★A great complimentary to MLS.
3 ★Great when it works. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app at least once a week or else all I can see are my favorites. If the developers could ever fix this I would be increase my rating.
1 ★App crashed my Pixel 4XL before I could even pull up a home.
1 ★The user interface is hopelessly counterintuitive. Functions that should only take a button press are buried in menus. For example: if you'd like to switch quickly and easily between seeing your saved homes and new homes you can do that by pressing the 'back' button, finding the Homespotter app icon, and dragging it into the trash. Because it's always bugged. Also, why in God's name is 7 days the shortest amount of time I can narrow a search by "new"? 7 days is useless in a sellers market.
1 ★This app is only for usa. I did not see any Canadian homes on the search as it asks for zip code not postal code. It should be made to work in Canada but it does not.
3 ★Glitchy at times (loads photos of a listing but not the details) but generally ok. Wish it could be used by the public as well.
1 ★My realtor suggested I install the app, which I did. However, when looking at Langley City, BC my app only showed me 3 properties in the area no matter what I tried to get it to show more, e.g. zooming in, restarting, etc. I had no filters on. Her app showed her 75 properties. I looked at the same map on realtor app and it showed 162 properties. This means the app is useless for me even though I consider myself to be a power user / techie I couldn't get it to work :-(
2 ★The old filter terms always left something to be desired, and the most recent update doesn't allow any filter terms at all. It is also only showing me "sold" houses in my search, which is decidedly unhelpful for *buying* a house. I've had to resort to using Zillow for searching, then sharing the address/MLS number with my agent through Homespotter's messaging feature. On top of that, I have to redo the two-factor authentication just about every time I open the app. The good news is that it doesn't take long, but it still got irritating after the 8th or 9th time. Devs really need to test their builds better than this.
5 ★Compared to the MLS App. I find this one alot more user friendly. It's easier to locate properties, and works much like the Google maps app. Unlike the MLS you don't have to be exact in your spelling. It populates the correct address just like Google maps does.
4 ★Awesome yet infuriating. We have been house hunting for over a year. Using this app, I usually see more listings and the coming soon listings before Realtor and Zillow which is great. My one problem is sometimes when I click on my favorite listings I get stuck and can't reset so I'm stuck looking at only my saved listings no matter what I do. I have to uninstall and reinstall in order to fix this.
1 ★Every single day I have trouble with this app. Crashes, freezes, won't save homes for contacts, you name it there's always something wrong with this app. One star seems appropriate for the amount of times this app fails me when I need it most.
1 ★This app does not work 99% of the time. It constantly crashes forcing you to reinstall the app just so it would work for a few mins before it starts crashing again and you have to repeat the process. Possibly the worst app I am yet to "use". And why are these reported bugs not being fixed?
